    For me i have calculated it in Germany and if i buy a phone for 550€ max upfront, after 2y i would have paid more or less the same as if i would buy S2xU or an iPhone pro Max.

    So if i want to save some money, I should pick a limited plan and a device, less than 550€. Any Euro above that I'd better go for a flagship with a contract - both contract and phone will be much better and will cost me like 10€/month overprice.. which is ridiculous, we're filling car tanks for 80+€ here every week ;)

        [deleted post]Just fyi, affording a Samsung S series is no brainer in Western Europe (and i believe in US too). Seems like Samsung offers heavily discounted devices with cellular contracts. In Germany I can get S25U for 100 Euro and pay 40-50 per month for contract with 80+GB of data included..S24U was for free or 10€ less per month..

        Basically any other phone will be max 10€ per month cheaper or at same price, although it costs much less if bought directly from store, which makes the choice really easy and in favor of Samsung. People simply aren't paying 1500€ for their devices, but probably something like 600-800max and that in 2y timeframe, when considering the contract conditions..

        I think that explains why Samsung is easily selling whatever their retail prices are..

          Yep Samsung have come complete full circle and copied the last Apple corporate idea …

            Anonymous, 25 Jan 2025I have purchased an Oneplus 13 16 GB ram version. It's... moreLoL, so many fake comments in this section, yours is the perfect example. Most of you don't even afford a 500$ and you come and comment on a 1500$ phone. I'm not defending Samsung as they could at least bump up the charging speeds but most of the people buy Samsung for the OS. Oneplus has horrible services after you buy their products, so no thanks. I have a Oneplus Pad 2 and I have sent it to warranty after 2 months of use because the battery barely lasts 1 day. Not to mention the low quality cameras Oneplus 13 has for that price. The AI process with pictures is horibble also, a lot of HDR and pictures come out more bright than normal. In my country the returning rate of Oneplus 13 is high, wonder why? I will never buy another Oneplus product.
            Those of you who say Samsung phones don't have quality are a bunch of poor people and haters. Are Samsung phones overpriced? Hell yes. Low quality? Never.

                            ;) totally not sponsored, we always trust Chinese reviews and the teen china fangang here. Just that they never helped anyone, who was asking for advice/tips/solution and his/hers Chinese phone.

                            Btw that's still Samsung thread;) it will take some years, but I'm sure 4-5 of you will figure it out at the end ;)

                                  It's hard to even comment on this. I thought Apple was the master of lack of innovation, but Samsung has surpassed everything.
