This is Qualcomm chip is actually based on older arm v8.
Meanwhile latest apple silicon and big cores of snapdragon 8 gen1-3 uses newer arm v9

PeterThePanda, 10 hours agoThey should just rename these phones as S22, S22+ and S22 U... moreI do not get how people accept 1+ hour to charge a 1,000 dollar device. Still, in 2025.

After the S22U and S23U, Samsung no longer interests me. Their focus on AI is too boring and hardware has barely made any significant leap so what's the point? These are too expensive for their specs and the promised multiple years of software updates is a joke considering that most people wouldn't even hold on to their phones for seven years not even 4 years actually.

Very minor changes in s25 ultra pics , dark portions are handled bit better than 24 ultra , but making major focus area ( middle 80% photo ) bit blur than s24 ultra, might get rectify with updates since it's a new born yet. But doesn't makes any sense to upgrade. Requires major upgrades in camera setup...

Milad, 12 hours agoBoring and repititive design with not very good performance... moreI think one reason Galaxy is so popular is that it's one of the few smartphone brands that's not Chinese. Compared to Chinese smartphones, where you might have to give your personal data to the Communist Party, Galaxy likely offers better security, which could be a big factor in its popularity.

As someone with S23 Vanilla from 2023, I'm scratching my head why this S25 basically like my current phone 😅
Who thought from Samsung that getting Thinner by couple of mm will be good idea? Are they not seeing what Chinese brands doing, retaining the Thickness but adding More Battery. We could appreciate if they add 100-200mah instead.
Will see if Samsung will learn and do major thing on S26, but skipping upgrade for now 🙄

PeterThePanda, 10 hours agoThis phone should definitely be a contender on MKBHD's... moreLiterally took Samsung a year to add one more to the s series by making it 1mm thinner.. hilarious

Anonymous, 9 hours agoDid they get rid of the green line bug?Seems not, but if you are in some first world countries then seems like the service may cover the damage but maybe only for very limited time when it made into the news.

I really don't understand why they had to remove the Bluetooth feature from the Spen. Like what were they even thinking??? Do the features in SNote also not work? Switching pens, using the erasor. The camera shutter use of the Spen was my favorite, a friend of mine even bought the s24 ultra after seeing me use it on the Note 20! This was not good Samsung. Wasn't required.

This phone should definitely be a contender on MKBHD's Smartphone Awards for 2025 as "Bust of the Year", for basically being the same phone for 3 years already. xD

They should just rename these phones as S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra (Gen 3). xD
No significant changes since 2022, only slight design tweaks and SoC updates.
How embarrassing that they're being beaten by other Android OEMs and even the iPhone when it comes to camera quality and battery life.
