I wouldn't mind slightly smaller version of S26 Ultra without pen. with equal camera setup. Meanwhile bigger brother with pen and bigger screen called S26 Note could live alongside.

sdkk, 24 Jan 2025I really don't understand you... You're trying to... moreyou don't understand me, because you are thinking only from fanboy point of view and expect me to be a fanboy too.
I'm not. I'm just an user and a customer. Noone said I should praise or like, or buy any tech nonsense out there. But I cannot say "that device is trash" because it does not come up with "xxx". If I was like that I should have changed my PC, Car, fridge, washing machine every 2 months (I guess many companies dream of that, lol) :)

My point is - if you (or anyone else) are bashing over "but they kept same battery" , you should simply wait and see if that performs worse than expected. IF not, who cares what battery size is built in? Users do not care what is written on the spec sheet, they do care of actual results and use experience. IF that matches their expectations -good product. If not-failure/not suitable.

Could it have been better with bigger one, more RAM, more hw and sw innovations? Of course!
Could it make device better and more popular? Of course
Am I happy with what Samsung offer - ...hard to answer, if I find something that fits my usage and expectations (and price) I buy it. Else I don't..
Will I buy S25? I don't know..I need to consider lots of things..too early to say. I would answer the same if you ask me under Nothing phone threads...
Will you buy S25? I don't know, I'm not saying what you should buy or not, I'm here to hear your experience with what you have bought though....
and so on.. hope that makes my presence here a bit more clear to you.

These phones are battery disasters, marketing and fans will argue but in 3 months it will be all over internet. These phones are meant to be doomed with that battery capacity

Nothing interesting to see with these "new" series of S-devices. Same boring design, nothing thrilling, at least not from the aesthetic point of view. On hardware side...oh well that remains to be seen how well it will fare as well as all the very useful (not) AI features. Samsung fails to fascinate people for a while already. Personally I'm only interested to see how big or nice the big UI7 overhaul will be. Hardware wise I don't care as all of them will deliver enough for most of the usage patterns among most users. Camera wise I don't care either as I'm not a camera focused person nor am I a content creator. And then there is the price...

You're trying to praise Samsung, but in fact, with every post you seem to insult them, honestly... I don't know what exactly will make you happy about the fact that if it turns out that Samsung with a 5k mAh battery will last as long as, say, a 1+ with a 6k mAh battery. High five for the optimization, but on the other hand, it means that instead of giving you a 6k battery + optimization (for a phone for 1500 euros), they are just being on par with the competition in order to save 5-10 dollars by putting in the larger battery. And a larger battery + quality optimization means less frequent charging and longer battery life. But you clearly have a hard time understanding it and you enjoy everything they serve you because you are a fan.

I even stopped Gemini, I don't need it. I mainly use the phone for photos, browsing and casual games sometimes. The only useful things for me are the AI photo editing - like glare removal, person, etc. But man... Fast charging and a large battery should be mandatory for every Flagship. Especially if it costs 1500+ euros. I can't describe to you what a pleasure it is to use my 1+ 13 right now.... After 24 hours of use, its battery is at 35-40 percent. In the morning while I'm getting ready for work, I plug it into the adapter and after about 30 minutes it has 100 percent battery. I prefer this to any S-pen.

Nick Tegrataker, 24 Jan 2025Ah yes, anyone who points out that Samsung is increasingly ... moreAi hardware and software were just to mention s25 has more to do than just running an ad-filled launcher, since that is all what the Chinese phones have as a software. But i guess my English wasn't correct and your Chinese phone failed to translate to your native language ;) apologies.

We will see, just be careful throwing stones when you live in a glass house, an old English saying, if I'm not mistaken

                        Hey Samsung... why why why????
                        Almost nothing new.
The only good thing is that you rounded the frames
Why did you remove the pen functionality
How can I pay 1500 Euros for a phone with a pen that doesn't work.
Better to buy a regular phone and a pen from aliexpress
I used a note10+ now I use a s24 ultra but I won't buy a s25 ultra you ruin the phone and don't think about the customer at all. Everything is money for you
Not to mention that last year there were gifts with the pre-order, like chargers and a case.... this year nothing round zero

The main conclusion: the prices are UNREASONABLY high !
This applies not only to Samsung and not only to the S25 series,
but also to other manufacturers flagship phones - Xiaomi, for example (don't want to mention Apple.).
Logical thinking tells me that the ONLY reason for this can be: extra-extra-extra profit for the manufacturer. And... that has already become frivolous.

Nick Tegrataker, 24 Jan 2025Ah yes, anyone who points out that Samsung is increasingly ... moreAnd he responded the same way to a person that used samsung device and had issues with it lmao. Gt 7 pro and iqoo 13 probably won't be exceeded even in aggregate score. What he also forgets is that display isn't getting huge upgrades, not even panel material upgrade in s25 series and substantial part of screen-on consumption is screen itself, 8-bit panel isn't something one should be proud of, others are actually closing the gap in that regard.

Luke, 23 Jan 2025;) I'm not defending anything, I'm not paid by Sa... moreAh yes, anyone who points out that Samsung is increasingly becoming extremely lazy with their new Galaxy releases and their "new" S25 series is essentially the S22sss series is a "Chinese gang". Imagine simultaneously resorting to ad hominem and racism in a desperate attempt to prove your point, hilarious.

"what about AI hw and sw?"
Wait, that's all you could come up with? You have to be kidding me lmfao.

They are selling a 4 year old phone with a jat and mustache and calling it new.

For me its pretty hard, as some features are not on any other device, like auto eND, hi res hdr raw(well, google got them but they have hard time getting consistent hi res), pen.
Not to mention I'm ogling folds, but their cameras are mid range lvl, samsung ones entry lvl.
Folding camera centric design is a lost tech now, after mate x2.
My s21u got 15w wireless and though I bought a charger, its basically useless, waste of space. Even if I got plenty of time, this kind of charging speed makes me suffer...

But just wanted to say - do you guys (Chinese gang) realize how funny and pathetic you all could look like, if in few days time the tech reviews come out and performance and battery life of S25U happen to be better than all those 700000000mAh super high charging innovative Chinese phones without even proper task manager/process cleanup , what about AI hw and sw? Just think about it... how you would look in reader's eyes after all you have posted...

                                      ;)

Of course the reviews could be worse, in that case you can congratulate yourselves for all those "positive" posts of yours, but if.. only if ...by chance... We will be laughing at you at least until S26 comes out ;)

Even die hard Samesung fans have no arguments to defend this granny tech phone.

My tip: Just say it's a great grandma/grandpa phone. Best possible marketing for this already outdated silicon waste.
