"Google's Magic Eraser was the first of its kind"
Sorry Team, but you have been repeating this wrong information since Google introduced Magic Eraser with huge marketing. Samsung released the Object Eraser already with S22 series, and before google. They didn't make a big deal of it simply because Samsung Marketing Team has been incapable for years.

Since the Galaxy Ai object eraser is cloud based, you guys should retry this with Google Magic Editor (not Eraser), since that is also cloud-based. Magic Editor is SO MUCH BETTER than Magic Eraser.

Fri Plstyn, 11 Apr 2025Forgiveness for Apple at your verdict is intolerable for th... morePrice which in regions like mine is exactly the same as Xiaomi and Samsung.
Pixel is 200 euro cheaper though
I agree Apple their tool is silly at best, you would expect a bit more from it.

Daniel Hunter , 11 Apr 2025Why not to consider honor magic eraser? Even Vivo and OPPO have these object erasers now. Should've included every vendor offering these services to make it truly a one stop shop for this comparison. Instead, we'll have to wait for them to consider and add Vivo and Oppo's implementations

So it seems that Samsung wasn't all marketing after all. They did have a headstart over Apple and Xiaomi and it seems to have paid. Google was the first but they haven't improved their solution with newer AI models.
I'd say they'll all ultimately become better at this, they just need to train more. The more they're used, the better they become.

I think you use the local Google Magic eraser, but not the better online tool. That's not fair!

For anybody wondering, Samsung had the same style object eraser Pixels had, before Samsung AI one came out.
The old one is still in the Samsung Gallery, works the same as the one on Pixels, does not require any Samsung accounts not internet.
It also makes same mistakes as the Google one.
Anyhow there is option for those that don't want the Samsung AI one, but remember that the older one is worse.
