Great review for starters, but for me (attention please, personal opinion) currently the Touch Pro has the advantage because of the price gap in favor of HTC. If you take away the larger screen and it's resolution, you'll see that spec wise they are the same. As for the panels, it's only software, meaning that if you can run TouchFlo3D on the X1 it's only a matter of time before someone does the panels on HTC devices.
For me and since I'm looking for a device with these features and triband UMTS (including the 850 MHz band) it was (and still is) a battle between the Xperia X1a and the HTC Fuze...
As a conclusion, if I could have the X1 screen on the Touch Pro body, I would be a happy buyer! But since I can't have them both, I'll go for the Touch Pro (the Fuze version)!
Happy holidays to you all and thank you GSM Arena!

This is a very good phone which will keep sony err afloat for some time but at the same time this won't bring even a moderate sell because of high price tag. Its competitor HTC (Pro, HD, 3G) are already in market which offer more functionality for less price.
And Nokia's new touch phone 5800 is already in market, I have great sympathy for xPERIA & xPERIA USERS.

Dies it print money? Can XPERIA X1 save it's user from "crisis" or it only saves salaries and bonuses of Sony Ericsson executives?
