Bought 3gs 32gb, loaded up apps etc using half memory, then it just kept locking out on search page. Got brand new one, backed up from pc and it does exactly the same again. Took all apps off and have been reloading 1 by 1 and retesting, but whilst playing a game it locked out again - it's a pain! Thinking of going to get money back. Anyone else had similar problems?

i would go with the samsung wave.
radio, better camera and screen (super amoled), and it records movie.
apple is for rich kiddies!

Actually, i like iphone sumuch I save my money for 6 month inorder to buy a new iphone. when i buy it I am so happy about the program and feature. However, I can use it only 5 day, then my iphone was error and can't open. now it like a stone in my pocket ever and ever.

no matter how mad people say. this is amzing device....i work in a mobile gaint org and still gets enticed by apple products..and especially this phone is a mirracle....we all owe one to steve jobs..his creation....we shld be proud to a genious like him and never try to bring down the devices capabilities...this is always the superlatives of the phones...ist just simple....dont be jack of all and master of none...
i being a tester of multimdeia phones based of andriod, windlows ..... tested a lot a lot literally and when i come to use my apple i always wonder by its perfromence..it will never freeze, never slow down and never stop... i still like it ...though its a year old...its brand new...

no matter how much i dilike this phone sometimes, i cannot replace it with anything else. This is one of the best things made for mankind, so wht if it has a few problems u can never get enough of an iphone there's always something new to it the next day.

don't care about all ba... morewelcome new iphone user, haha, ya dont really need to care others. you have your money you buy one. they all are critism, and they love to critic, its their job.
i used 3GS 32GB and this is the best phone ever, as ill nominate it as KING OF SMARTPHONE. but it is true, i'm a little dissapointed in battery life but always bring your charger anywhere you travel.

Why HTC phone's review got a mention of possible tweaks by using cutom ROM and iphone review never mentioned possible enhancements with jailbreak?

The whole lack of multitasking thing reminds me of Nokias S40 OS, you know the one they use in their budget phones, and the lack of Adobe Flash, and the lack of proper sms/mms client that can be found on any other phone brand, even in the cheapest mms enabled phones, And the outdated camera with no flash or lamp, no hardware FM radio (only streaming which kills your battery and you need a data plan to even use the Iphone properly).
I think the lack of multitasking is a big NO NO for me, but sure it's pretty and shiny.

Why are people falling for this nonsense over and over again? Next year it will iPhone 3GS 2, then it will be iPhone 3GSi "for improved" to 3.5 mp camera and glowing compass or something. Apple will suck you dry before til at least 2013 with the same crap over and over again, and u won't even know what hit you. Nothing justifies a mentally intelligent person to keep buying the iPhone if u already have the orginal or the 3G version until 2014 or something, everythin else is just pure stupidity or lack of social life. can't believ people just loved getting ripped of like this, it's scary to see.

jealouse, 03 Nov 2009have you own an iphone?i have got an iphone & it's agood phone apart from a few glitches, it's got no radio but you can download an app for that, but it drains your battery something cronick, it's got no flash but you can download an app for that too, & you can download a 5megapix camera from apps, but the biggest bug bear is that there is no bluetooth, you can download an app for bluetooth but only to use with other iphones only, which is a disappointment, but there is a hell of alot of app to download & alot that are free , i downloaded the speed cameras for only £1.95 which is good when you think you have to pay £30 to download it onto a tom tom. all in all it's a good allround phone.

i hate 2 say dis but i just read d review of iphone 3gs n am disappointd. this is a review site dat is meant 2 b objective. u were usin us n things lyk fingerprint smudges were more or else exhalted on a device dat u claim is d best. u might like s'tin but dont show it when u r reviewin. hw on earth can u compare iphone to hd2 on another runnin a more resource heavy os, higher screen resolutn n size. i ave neva owned an htc device once but i ave used iphone n u cant compare a fanciful chinese fone(iphone) to a machine lyk d hd2. thank u. oh by d way i ave used wm from 5 to 6.5

The video posted on the review,comparison between iphone 3gs and iphone 3g.It is not a very accurate result.Both phone should compare in the same condition,the battery status.3G's battery is nearly exhausted, would the performance be affected?

Ok heres the best reason why iphone is rubbish. In the UK I can get most mobile phones free on £35, 18 month, contract. The iphone I need to pay £184 for the phone on the same contract. Rip-off
