have you tried it? how many people in here have tried the phone? you are all stuck-minded in hardware keypad and phone with many buttons. if we're all thinking like that, then there will never be high-tech in the future. but it seems now many brands like to work out with the touch screen phone. i've been using my iphone 2g for 2 years and it never got damage. and i like the virtual keyboard so much. its the best keypad ever i tried since ive been using nokia samsung sony ericsson motorola. its still the best. but many people think that the virtual keyboard 'seems' to be not comfortable to type because they haven't tried using it for long, not just once. because if just once, first we have to adapt with the virtual keyboard first which is hard. so shut your mouth if you haven't tried it before.

Good for boasting in front of friends but, waste of money. Very limited features which are expected from any smart phone at a very exhausting price. Not worth the attention and money spent on it. It's just the brand name 'apple' the one which made the ipod.

Apple fanboys are quite funny and yet very predictable. Real man with iPhones. Give me a break. The most resticted phone on earth, requires iTunes for everything. Better yet, requires a computer for everything can't even get over the air updates without needing synching. Can't even get downloades without requiring wifi unless it's a very small file. For those non believers try downloading something from the iTunes store or app and it's over 10mbs and see what happens.

In Europe and Asia...Iphone is a joke....it has the best UI, but as far as specs....my old nokia n73 smashes it. It's a toy....Samsung, LG (Korea) NOKIA......REAL PHONES...even Blackberry. After the novelty wears off........you have nada...

if any 1 is looking for a phone with great camera go for the following
samsung innov8,8mp, probably the best 8mp u cn also get apps for this phone
samsung omnia hd, high definition videos, also great camera, multimedia beast
lg renoir,8mp alot of camera functions, like touch focus, nd many more great video aswell, divx
sony ericsson 8mp c905, w995
samsung pixon 8mp
samsung pixon12, a beast of a camera phone, 12mp,
nokia n97, n86, n82, these all have apps aswell, just search for them
sony ericsson satio, not released yet, also with a beast of a camera 12mp, and there loads of apps for it, jus search on the net

being businessmen I tried to use this phone as a business phone but I couldn’t. for fun this phone is excellent not for the real work, get blackberry or an e series and buy ipod with your remaining money. sure its pleasure to use this phone but not in day to day busy life in London.

so by that u mean to get some good photos we need to waste money on a seperate digital camera while we wanna waste our money on a apple i phone with a very bad camera is that what u mean ? i have been a fan of apple i phone at first it got released . but the marketing gimmiks they pull on innocent customers with a cpu upgrade 3g or 3gs is not worth it . at least they shouldve added bt support and a front video caller camera anyway . eventhough theres nothing much to loose cuz we know that i phone 3gs lacks battery life even than the first i phone 2g . think about it .
if ur a teen or if ur someone who got less knowledge about a phone or if ur a person who use ur high end phone which u paid so much just for calling purposes - u will go for i phone 3gs for sure . but if ur seriously thinking about really high end phones that offers the best for u or if ur a pro mobile user or a businessman u will never get the i phone 3gs . instead u will go for better stuff - like black berry storm / the htc touch hd / samsung omnia hd 2 etc . theres tons more . compared to those touch screen models i phone is just a teen toy .

I wouldn't agree with you anymore after I've seen Omnia HD in reality. OLED makes difference. Iphone WAS revolutionary when it first came... but now? It has been surpassed long time ago, both in resolution, quality and touch sensitivity. Or do you claim that the screen "evolution" stopped in 2007, and the best screen ever made was made then?

I got 1 its great upgraded it from an lg viewty, the iphone 3gs is soooo much better, only the camera and bluetooth on viewty is better.
