Hey great news! I just saw software update is now available for Xperia X2 at http://www.sonyericsson.com/update! Just updated mine - damn it's awesome! My phone hasn't crashed so far and phone seems to be faster. Also I love the new dialer that came with the update! Exactly as how I wanted with easy redial (press call button twice), much easier to search my phonebook and can now filter my missed/dialed/received calls. Finally Sony Ericsson! Thank you! I am now a believer and can't wait until you give me the other updates that you promised!

    Dear friends
    My SE X2 suddenly freeze and it dont boot again.
    always after I turn it on, it just show SE Logo and not any more.
    How can I flash it or update its rom or anything which thease phone start working.
    there is nothing in SE sites, there is no support, and no one know the solution.

      I'm using x2 for a week now and it's pretty much good it has not put me in trouble even once it has a really good coverage of network and i'm so glad that i have it tough I think that the price is little bit high

            folks, calm down..

            lets be straight here..

            am a big fan of SE, since i started with phones it has always been SE..
            but looking at what we have now, the review of gsmarena may be biased to some of us.. lets just look at the specsheet itself, it should tell us enough that the review is correct..

            besides, if someone would say x2 is any better device compared to its older brother, its just the very tiny difference of the camera and the new body, plus the new version of the OS(which i heard does run on x1), other than that, its not worth your money for an upgrade, so why is it any better?

              i don't get it... is GSMArena so angry with Sony Ericsson phones? i don't really get it. they praised Nokia 5130 that the review convinced me to buy one only to find out that the Sony Ericsson Naite (from my friend) was more elegant, beautiful and cool --- all at the same time. what's more: they sell at the same price range, and the only thing that the Naite lacks is the 3.5mm jack.

              i am a die-hard SE fan and my heart hurts so much reading spooky reviews from where i trust of reliable reviews. i hope they praise the Vivaz, X10 and Aspen -- which i can wait of forever

                      seems like the first firmware update will bring video telephony and fm radio to the x2 among other things.

                                when i compared N96 VS N95 was an example of how GSMarena are bias,

                                they released N95 in March 2007 and N96 in September 2008 if you compare N96 to N95 or N95 8GB you will see that the only different is the screen side... that's it and in GSMarena review they call it the "King's new clothes" all this time and NOKIA came up with complete nothing to offer with a lot of disadvantages and still GSMarena didn't compare N96 to N95 because if they did anyone with brain will ask one question why NOKIA bother and released N96 Also N96 Price was so expensive at the time of released and still 350EUR at the moment

                                Question: what N96 has new Features to offers??? the Answer: is Nothing.

                                X2 has so much to offer and it's not pricy 480 EUR it's reasonable when you compare it to Apple iPhone
                                also let's not forget that we are talking about SE not cheap plastic Samsung or LG, if this is the range you were talking about then excuse me but you don't know a thing of Win mobile

                                  Tryed my hand on a live set, phone is kinda laggy even when composing a SMS. Will prefer if someone is able to release a custom rom with HTC TouchFlo 3D GUI for X2.

Also if you're buying the X2 and want the WM6.5, the X2 is actually very pricey vis-a-vis better devices.

                                    Anyway read the review one more time, and there are 2 disappointments. 1) Its a repackaged X1 and with the exception of the 8MP camera, and is outclassed by other WinMo devices in its price range. 2) Its filthy expensive for what is essentially a more than half year old spec device.

                                      regarding the Audio quality: you said that the audio is disappointing while the numbers shows that X2 is way better than N97, N97 Mini, HTC Touch Pro2 and the Moto Milestone

                                      all you do is comparing X2 to X1 and you shows what X1 has over X2 but never shows what X2 has over X1 and other phones

                                      can any one tell me what N96 has over N95 or N958GB???? and you name it the successor

                                        I have to say it is an improvement for SE, both USB dock and the 3.5mm jack are present, finally they get it. And the 8mp cam for a WM device is actually quite good. And I expect the hardware is speced to run the OS smoothly, even though the competition has got them snapdragons now.
                                        And people don't compare Symbian with WM, you can run S60 on 64MB of ram (N95) while you need 256MB for the WM to do the same thing.
