It's so nice not to be able to change your sms-signal, it removes so much pressure from the individual user, personalizing your phone can be hard.

all good features available for both 3G and 3GS and the home screen wallpaper is available for iphone 3G and above. That's insane for the ipod touch 2nd generation users that home screen wallpaper feature is not available for Itouch2 users. Apple should really do something about it ?

They do in-depth reviews and remain unbiased. Every phone has its flaws and so to does the Iphone. If you want reviews praising the Iphone then go to the many available fanboy sites. If the Iphone is the best phone for you then that's good for you but don't go bashing this site. Everyone has their own preferences and not everyone has a use for the Iphone. I currently have the Iphone 4 and even I don't believe its the best phone on the market. This is my opinion. If I didnt get it for a good deal then I would have not bought it. It's a premium product that I don't believe it is worth. I don't understand why a lot of apple fanboys don't realize they are paying extra for the brand. What it sells for does not match its features. Again, the Iphone 4 not being the best on the market is just my opinion and everyone is entitled to theirs as long as they don't bash other phones.

if you restore an iphone 3g to factory settings *through itunes* & then update to 4.0 it will run LIKE BUTTER! i know because thats what i did

SMS tones are still not customizable
No proper file browser or access to the file system
No USB mass storage mode
No Bluetooth file transfers to other mobile phones
Contacts lack a swipe-to-delete or mass delete feature
No SMS/MMS delivery notifications
Cmon Apple make something good already!!!ANY NORMAL PHONE CAN SEND VIA BLOOTOOTH.Is that really worth it?!?!my 100$ nokia can do those things

This is the latest biased review by gsmarena. Hey ppl why don't you focus on the things that iOS does far BETTER than any other os and instead give us your regular biased stuff.
No Flash support in the web browser - and what? i am missing some ad banners
No true multitasking for all applications - i am not on a desktop to run 100 apps at once. I don't need my phone to be laggy because of this
iOS4 for iPhone 3G has limited new feature set - as if apple should support their phones forever. who else does it?
Poor performance on iPhone 3G - try installing win 7 on your 10 years old machine
No quick toggles for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or 3G - really?
No social networking integration - do I need all this stupid social networks stuff wherever I go?
No info widgets on lockscreen or homescreen - my homescreen looks better without them
SMS tones are still not customizable - should I put the new Britney's song?
No mass mark emails as read - never thought about this
No proper file browser or access to the file system - Apple's approach is better - most of the people don't need to do this on a mobile phone
No USB mass storage mode - I have usb drives to store files. 16 or 32 GB of media content is all I need
No vibration feedback when touching the screen - I don't intend to touch it with my ass

No smart dialing (but Spotlight is a somewhat of a substitute) - I have never dialed numbers quicker compared to any other phones I've used - Nokias, HTCs
No DivX or XviD video support and no official third-party application to play that - another reason for committing suicide

iPhone OS4.... bringing features from 2004 on a 2010 update is just sad... Just go out and buy a unlocked HTC device from 2005 for 70 USD and you would still be better off.

iOS4's does exactly the same thing 3G does, FREEZE APPs, NOT MULTITASK.
The only difference is that now, it shows you what apps are frozen in the background.
It should be really called "OPEN APPS BOOKMARK with APPS KILL OPTION".
