they said multitasking is going to be great on ios 4, but still i cant run my skype account at background,its signsout atomatically everytime i put in on background,could anyone helpme????????????

The positive side is the ability to quickly resume an application exactly where you left.The good thing is that despite all these apps running in the background, the OS is quite stable and fluid on the iPhone 3GS. ------>>>
Are GSM people have included themselves in apple ship. These application are not going to run in background, so no more activities in background then how the hell OS is going to affect ?
Rather than multi tasking, it should have name TASKSWITCHING. :)

i heard that apple invent video call.?is DAT true?
den i heard an engineer from apple talking about video calling ,as he was so amazed by it? i dont like dat FA@% face.

Every "New" feature listed is not new at all.... It's been on other OS's for ages.. for example compared to Symbian.
Homescreen wallpapers - About 10 years old
Folder organization of the homescreen icons - Too old..
Multitasking and fast app switching - 7 years old and yet not true multitasking
Google/Wikipedia search in Spotlight - About 3 years old
Bluetooth keyboard pairing support - About 4 year.. New Symbian even supports a mouse
SMS character counter - Really??? "New"?
SMS search - About 4 years ago in Symbian
Email threading - Not available on Symbian but Google had it
Unified Email inbox - About 3 years old
Email archiving is now available when you setup Gmail - Been there..
Spell checker - Think thats new... not sure
iPod music player can now create, edit and delete playlists - About 5 years old
5x digital zoom in still camera - About 3 years old..
Touch-focus in video capture (for video enabled iPhones) - About 2 years old
Keyboard layouts span over QWERTY, QWERTZ, and AZERTY - What use it this?
Minor icon design facelifts
Video call support (only in iPhone 4 and only over Wi-Fi) - Thats just dumb!
iBooks e-book and PDF reader - About 5 years late..

My wife has a 3Gs and has downloaded iOS4 but now finds that she cannot open iTunes or half the apps that she has downloaded. An hour-long phone call to Apple has yet to reslove the problem despite trying a hard reset/restore to factory settings and reinstalling all her software... Any suggestions..?

Apple should stick to what they know, making first class computers, because they really seem to struggle when it comes to building a phone with basic features. Do like it though, and will probably buy one. Not sure why.

Symbian may not have the new streamlined looks and charm... but there is no denying it, no other OS so far is able to match its complexity, flexibility and the sheer amount of features that it supports.
People taking about no apps for symbian need to look outside Ovi Store... There are literary hundreds of apps stores in the web that provide apps for it.

i phone was sucha failure that all the OS are copying iOS
except balckberyy OS showing awesomeness without multitouch other OS...

Another feature that's added on ios4 that I missed from my treo650 is the integration of birthday entry from Contacts to the Calendar. That is now available on ios4. I hate having to enter a contact's birthday twice, in the contacts app and then in the calendar. Now, you just enter it in the contacts app, and it automatically gets entered in the calendar app. Nice.

Go play with your phone which can install about 1MB per software only. Guest iPhone software how big? 500MB also got. so you know what different between normal phone and iPhone softwares now.

After Reading What Is Missing List :
What’s still missing:
No Flash support in the web browser
No true multitasking for all applications
iOS4 for iPhone 3G has limited new feature set
Poor performance on iPhone 3G
No quick toggles for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or 3G
No social networking integration
No info widgets on lockscreen or homescreen
SMS tones are still not customizable
No mass mark emails as read
No proper file browser or access to the file system
No USB mass storage mode
No vibration feedback when touching the screen
No Bluetooth file transfers to other mobile phones
Contacts lack a swipe-to-delete or mass delete feature
No SMS/MMS delivery notifications
No smart dialing (but Spotlight is a somewhat of a substitute)
No DivX or XviD video support and no official third-party application to play that
The whole iPhone is too dependent on iTunes - you cannot add the same type of content (video, photos, apps) to the phone from two computers, a regular file management interface would have been much better
The Whole OS Aint Good As Windows OS...

You do not understand:
1. high quality open video standard - soon to be used by all (on 3g when carriers let it) also you are not paying for minutes
2. flash is obsolete - html5 is standard - said and done, only uneducated don't understand this - I am into computers for more than 20 years and i just love leaving those old and expecialy bad techologies behind like flash, or xvid and divx its funny you even mention this, I watched last dvd 4 years ago, and divx is like joke... go watch blu-ray.
3. iphone 4 is best phone out there, gsm arena is only good as phone list and model encyclopedia, but very very bad at reviews, they have no real understanding of computers or trends and expecialy about future.
4. i would love to leave iphone and get new phone as soon as one better gets out, but until then its only iphone

For me i would say the Apple iOS 4 is an unfinished technology or software maybe apple should not release the Iphone4 in this short time
