so the general verdict seems to be C,> A,> B
if you look at some of the corners and edges of C, there seems to be blurryness/smudging as compared to A... so i believe A and C are both good in thier own ways. Overall, C seems to reflect true colour rather than digitized colour more than A.
B is hands DOWN the worst. Probably the samsung. Although, the picutres are still very adequate for a cell phone.

A = Samsung worst
B = Nokia middle
C = Sony best (not fair - a dedicated camera!!)

B - Sony digicam
A - N8
C - Pixon12
B seems to have the best color rendering but there's just too much noticeable noise which happens to be consistent with digicams.
A & C are a tad too dim which is almost quite present on most camphones plus ofcourse the saturations and noise levels

C is the Nokia; A is the Sony.
I'm not sure you can say one is better than the other as they take completely different approaches to noise reduction - the Sony has less noise at the cost of detail, in line with most consumer compacts, and the Nokia has more detail and also a lot more noise.
It's impressive though. At least until you want to zoom in...

Rajeev, 05 Oct 2010Details are the only thing that matter most. You can tweak ... moreI think I agree with you here. I think the poorest pics belong to the pixon, judging from the saturation and lack of detail. Its a toss up between the point and shoot and the N8, I think the point and shoot should be better, since it is an expensive one, but who knows.

the reddish/pinkish cast on A photos definitely are Pixon12's.
while C has the best exposure and detail and I pretty sure it's N8's
while B is sony's.
