A phone can never be a subs for a regular cam. Very difficult to hold the phone steady in strong winds like those nearby sea shores. It might be technically close but you can't use it for serious work, can you?
What are the great apps that Android or iPhone OS offers? I have a E51 for 3 years now. It can open and edit Word, Excel Powerpoint docs. Manages my 3500+ phonebook rather well. Runs Nokia's push mail app and instant messenger apps like Fring. It's nice to hold very sleek. Only thing missing is the GPS. But then E55 has that too. Stop this stupid hype about more and more senseless apps and pixels and HD videos and what not. Okay once in a while you might watch a 5 minute video or something, but to make a big hoo-haa about it is plain stupid.

Nokia sucks big time. I used Nokia long time ago, after I switch to SE I never look back then came iPhone. It was after I sold my iPhone 2G and 3G waiting for the 3GS. I have given them a chance on the N97 and will be the last. Their service sucks. The phone sucks, the UI sucks. IT's slow like hell. Ovi Maps sucks and retarded. Ovi stores charge lousy stuff for money which is way lousier than any free iPhone games.
BTW I see that it's a "BLIND TEST" and everyone is BLIND. HX5V is the best HIGH ZOOM Camera in the market. If you are looking on Cameras, none can give it a run for it's money against Cameras in this category let alone a 'NOKIA N8" it doesn't even have a good sensor to begin with.

The N8 is the King of camera phones has a great output sounding audio and Nokia reliability ! im buying and when meego get this kind of hardware all you Iphoners and Samsungners will have to shut up and buy one!! thats it Game over the King is back!!!

:) I just love how even the staff suggested that the N8 pumps up colors and even adds noise when it's not supposed to and that the Samsung clearly if a better shooter. But hey, "what do they know?". GSM Arena doesn't know anything when compared to the hundreds of thousands of blind Nokia fans, eager to get their hands on the latest Nokia gadget. I don't know if this is an act of desperation, hoping that MAYBE "this" phone will be good or that it doesn't have anything to do with reason. They're just brand-lovers : headstrong on the N8 regardless of the price and function of a phone that's only justifiable reason for the price is the 12MP camera...which is not that great.
Before you go and rant, I was a Nokia fan for many years. Until I started looking at the numbers. There are loads of other phones out there which are cheaper, better built, faster and with just as many functions.

just think about this: Windows xp with a 512mb ram and p4 could easily compete or even beat a windows vista with 1gb ram and dualcore.... As simple as dat...!
It all depends on the OS...
Symbian is not that demanding compared to iOS or whatever out there..
Kudos to GSMarena for givin a fair review... unlike engadget..
