what a waste of money and time to develop such a misery. it's worse than iphone!! no bluetooth transfer,no card,no mass memory storage, dependent to zune like icrap is dependent to itunes. what a shame. who needs such a failure. like i told before, mobile with windows are bad. go for android or symbian

As an o/s it all looks very nice, but looks are only skin deep.
The lack of internal storage is a big issue for me - cloud storage is only good if you have sufficient reception available to you.
And whilst the Marketplace caters for apps, games and music there's no mention of video or books. Is that something that's in the pipeline?
Finally, I think it's somewhat ironic that the broswer doesnt (currently) support flash and that the phone is "too dependent on Zune software for computer file management and syncing" a la iTunes given that Microsoft are attempting to steal into the iPhone market..!

Marco, 09 Oct 2010I have used BT in years now, Wifi is so much more useful. i haven't even used wifi on phone at all,i used bluetooth, not all phones have wifi so bluetooth is useful verymuch in comparison to wifi in transfer of data between phones, but wifi is useful to for web browsing and downloading nothing else

I think it looks ugly, simple yet confusing and lacks the most basic functionality that you find in the cheapest phones. I would never get a phone with this excuse for an OS

Seems like the majority of people in here are bashing the OS and I am not surprised. The audience on this website have always been very spec oriented. To the point where functionality takes a back seat to specs.
Windows Phone 7 has some missing features and there is no denying that. But the functionality is amazing. The missing stuff can be added later on.

I'd still take symbian multitasking any day over androids... DLNA is kind of a weak point (N95 had it too, by the way) when your television has HDMI but no wifi. Actually, how many tv-sets come with wifi?

Looks great IMO!
Sure there are plenty of things missing (no copy and paste? Really Microsoft?) but if anyone can push updates out at a fast and regular pace its Microsoft, so im sure they're going to add those features soon enough.
But on the whole... how can people shrug this off? Microsoft Office on a Microsoft phone (Enterprise/business users...check), XBOX and Zune on a phone (Casual owners and 20 somethings...check), unique and pretty hot UI (fashion crazy people...check), integrated Facebook, where FB contacts are actually the phone contacts (Everyone else...check).
Great work MS! I cant wait for my Samsung Cetus!
