[deleted post]And if your battery gets drained by the 1Ghz proc, dont feel ashamed to ask someone with an N8 to charge your phone via the USB OTG....

Alui, 13 Oct 2010I do not know about you guys, but with my Sgs I got on this... moreHi Alui,
If you you add the 5 mega pixels from the samsung galaxy and 5 from the iphone, it will be still short of 2 megapixels.

I do not know about you guys, but with my Sgs I got on this site in four touches. The browser keyboard has a "www." key. Sgs seems to know which sites are available on the internet. After you press "g","s","m" the full link appears in the sugested sites. Can N8 do that? Guess not.

jake, 13 Oct 2010"and by the way finnish users has reported cutted call... moreNothing else than what wroted on Finnish forum where Finnish N8 users talking about their N8. But they are not troll if you mean that, but like i said its hard to say is it big or small issue. I'm not sure how many N8 users are on that forum, i think not many and four of them reported weak proximity and cutted calls because of that, one guy had 10 cutted call in week, one guy got 4 cutted call in one day etc.

Anonymous, 13 Oct 20106. Have you heard of a mouse being used on a mobile screen.... moreHi "Anonymous"
thanks for the links.
i tried the phone myself, and the signal bars did not drop !!!
the iphone 4, galaxy s and N8 are all great phones.
the galaxy S would have been Perfect, if it wasnt plastic, and had a better speaker.
the iphone makes you work after it.
jailbreak, depend on computer softwares to upload stuff , no micro sd and noflash.
the USer interface is on apple is something nobody can match, but on the whole, i think nokia N8 will give it a run for its money in many ways.
wait till it has spent a month in the market !!!

Anonymous, 13 Oct 20106. Have you heard of a mouse being used on a mobile screen.... more"and by the way finnish users has reported cutted calls because proximity sensor problem (same what iphone4 have), it doesn't always shut down screen and your cheek close the call, future tells is it on small amount of n8 or is it bigger problem."
You have any proof to this?

the N8 is not threatened by iPhone4 or Galaxy S., but looks like the users of the iP4 and glxy S definitely are !!!
after months of raging war between iP4 / Galaxy S / wave, this looks like the new battleground !!!
This phone is a perfect balance of EVERYTHING !!!!

I tried this phone in the priority store, and it was far from slow.
i dont think speed will be an issue on this phone.
I was able to manage my N97 with primitive specs at a pretty decent speed while moderately loaded up.
this phone is much better.
Nokia will definitely come out with plenty of decent apps. to compete with the other smartphones.
wait till we get the sales figures of this phone within a month of its release :)

Hi Guys,
this phone will be available for 22k in india after a week through non priority stores.
we all know that pre-orders are expensive !!!
The silver piece looks good in picts, but the dark grey and red are gorgeous when you actually look at it.
Btw, the review was awesome. (AND NON BIASED)
After using N96 and N97, i almost swore never to buy a nokia, BUT
No PHONE gives ALL OF these as a combo on a single phone:
1. Best Camera and XENON FLASH
2. Best Audio Output
3. Best Connectivity( HDMI and USB ) (the usb should be a trendsetter)
4. At par with best video recording(720p @ 25fps) and Browsing capabilities(flashlite and Opera)
5. Plays most video formats 720p(even my last Wave did not play large HD files)
6. Have you heard of a mouse being used on a mobile screen. Simply awesome !!!
7. Good speaker clarity.
8. and above all, no network or in call issues.(no dropping bars :) )
This is the ACTUAL " RETURN OF THE KING "
I am surely gonna get this one !!!!

keane, 13 Oct 2010yap i do have used my cousins n8...nd its laggy compared to... morePlease explain "slow and laggy" a bit better? And please tell us in which particular instances you felt it was "slow and laggy"? I have watched numerous video reviews and I am just not seeing this.
Perhaps it all boils down to you wanting to see it as "slow and laggy" so you will. A sort of self fulfilling prophecy.

Stuntman, 13 Oct 2010Dude:
Very interesting analogy. I know that I want to u... more;-)
Same with me here. I've been using my 5320 for two years now. Usually I upgrade before a year has passed, but in this case, it stuck. I spent a LOT of time h@ck*ng my phone and installing...N-gage games... :-D I kinda like them-always been a fan. My phone still does its job pretty well- plays good music, handles calls decently and among other things.
All my pals have switched over to Android and one clown to an iPhone4. One day, I should do that too- but as I said about the smokes, it's easier said than done. Tried out my friend's Desire once- couldn't make head or tail out of it and gave it back within two minutes. Time for me to move on to a Symbian touch platform and later migrate to the opposition when the time's ripe.
I plan to wait for a month or two for the prices to drop- then I would probably get an N8. The specs are too good for the price- you have to be mad to ignore something like this. Since I come straight from the s60 camp, I don't think there would be a steep learning curve for me when it comes to using Symbian^3.
