I guess the final ... moreThe camera on the DHD is a joke only to someone stupid enough not to know how to turn the sharpness down. Here is a list of what you get from the DHD and won't ever get with Arc:
1. Solid built alluminum body
2. HTC Sense
3. HTC support and updates for about a year
4. Community support after HTC directs their resources to more recent phones
5. More RAM
6. More ROM
In April 2011 SE will still be struggling to catch up to HTC's level in October 2010. Six months after the release of the DHD they are making a worse flagship?!? Good job!

I guess the final version of arc will be a really top of the line shooter - surpassed only by the N8.

My htc desire with 3g off gets over two days untill installed apps from the market reducing it to just over a day........perhaps proving googles claim that android is energy savey just some of the third party apps aren't

don't get me wrong im a super amoled/super amoled plus fan but why does everyone,gsmarena included criticize phone screens over colours getting washed out at insane angles that nobody views their phone from,i've certainly never used my phone looking at it at a 5 degree angle!!
Seems a good effort of a phone from sony but im just not a fan of their styling or font/ui themes. I will applaud them though over the fact that the arc is the only newly announced phone with gingerbread out of the box

Somewhere in the preview it is mentioned it lasted for 3 days on moderate use!! IS THIS RIGHT?? If true, this is amazing for Andriod phone!! And the video recording is really good (otherwise every other video sample from top of the line smartphones have some kind of jittery effect on moving objects - it looked lot smoother here)

If SE is going to ship it first on April, then they would have made the biggest mistake ever.
LG Optimus 2x Tegra2 dual core is coming on february, now in europe you can begin to preorder.
If SE Xperia Arc comes on April with this Single Core CPU.
SE FAILS BIG TIME, AND WILL KILL THIS WONDERFULL PRODUCT AS IT DID WITH X10!!!!!

ship it in the USA on AT&T or Tmobile before Q1 and i'll be the first in line!!!!!
otherwise theres wayyy too many good phones coming out with better specs (atrix, iphone5, infuse...etc)

I am not a hater here, I like the design, but spec. is terrible. Dual Core is the next gen of smart phone. plus this phone won't come out until april, which is too late. Late become SE habit lately. Don't you agree?

[deleted post]LCD panels used in Bravia TVs come mainly from a 50/50 Samsung-Sony Partnership. Sony also use Sharp panels on some of their TVs.
