the camera is not impressive at all , but is something you can expect from apple the iphone camera suxs as well , cool design though should sell good would probally prefer to buy the 3g compatible on this product , i give it some credit for having a thinner design and lighter and faster , question does it have a flash player if not , this product might be a lost cause with most high end websites require flash player someone answer this for me , or if there is away around this

i would take nice design over removable batt(so long as it has a decent batt life to begin with) due to the fact that i dont need it and if i did i have a very compact power pack for a boost
ive had my iPad since day one so nearly a year and its nice that it still has decent batt even with 3g on. my friend just told me that his galaxy tab lasts him 2-4 hours at which point a removable battery is important

LOL ))) So, probably the next iPad 3 will have a 3 MPx camera. Amazing, isn`t it? iPad 4 will be announced with a UBS port, but supports only USB 1.0 Later, after a year or two, Apple discovers the NEW USB 2.0 :)) It will be an iPad 5. And the iPad 6 will finaly get an amazing 5 MPx camera.
I really hate Apple`s marketing. I understand it is a profit, but I don`t like the attitude.

me, 05 Apr 2011i went from uk to south africa had two 3hr flights and one ... morethat sounds pretty impressive. I imagine the performance would not be the same if it was older. I like replaceable batteries it allows me to not search for power outlet's during layovers. I can focus on my health/hydration/nourishment not my electronics state of charge.
Whenever I travel with apple products I generally have heavy useage in departing airport downloading new applications. thus I never start the flight with a full state of charge.
thus I stand by my point that a non-replaceable battery is a negative for some users.

would you really want to use it for more than that amount of time non-stop? or even with a couple of short breaks in between?
i think 10hrs bat time is pleanty for the average user and by having no removable batt apple can use the awesome designing skills to make it look extra sexy rather than having some ugly batt cover on the back
any1 know the batt life on something like a galaxy tab??

i mean really why should you even need to remove the battery is it that bad quality that it needs to be repalced? ive had all iPhones and my battery has never degraded. infact my little brother is using my old 3g and the battery is still perfect
so y is removing the battery so important?

not an apple fan boy, 02 Apr 2011Those disadvantages are absolute bullshit. Who the fuck ... moreThere's nothing damaging about removing a battery, stop spreading FUD. Just because Apple deems its users too dumb to remove a battery doesn't mean everyone else should follow suit.

Who the fuck ... moreHave you ever been on a flight across the pacific ocean? A replaceable battery is a huge asset on such a venture. It's so much more compact than the other backup power solutions. For users that travel, not having a replaceable battery is a negative.

Who the fuck ... moreGSMArena has always stated that the disadvantages list contains all possible things that the mainstream user MAY not like. They point out the weak spots, so YOU can decide whether it works for you or not.
And did you read the whole review? Honestly?!! Because if you did, you would have known it points the iPad 2 as a winner.
I'm tired of listening the complaints from users like you, who read 5 lines and they are ready to hate/love. Read first, post later. PLEASE!

Those disadvantages are absolute bullshit.
Who the fuck removes a battery anymore, i was amazed when my mates blackberry was playing up the first suggestion was a battery pull. This is apple biggest plus that you don't have that option to screw up the hardware as it's so damaging to electronics!!!!!!
Apple only software is bad? how, you android is android store locked. And from experience it's 100% easier to jailbreak than it is to root. And when you do you can get any apple app cracked, whatever you really want to do.
The review is so biased, the ipad is the de-facto standard for tablets, yes there are downsides but these are vastly outweighed by all the features, benifits, hardware, accessories, customer base and hackability.
Android devices come and go and resale value for them is poor, by a ios device and you will practically get your money back when you come to upgrade anyway. There are just way too many advantages to an ipad over others.

Anonymous, 01 Apr 2011I guess that where I went wrong. I was trying to fill my d... morei can imagine how that would be very annoying if it takes them off and your out visiting
to prevent that if it happens to you alot it may be worth downloading a photo app and just having them stored in there
from what i understand i have things on itunes set up diff to most my friends, they add movies/tv shows via the 3 oldest unseen. i on the otherhand find that ticking the onces i want to be much better and as such have never had issues syncing
as to filling up all the memory i have always left just a smidge of memory spare on all my devices as you never know when your going to want to update/download apps which may require more memory on your device. doesnt have to be much just a couple of hundred meg is what i leave
i do wish itunes managed the pics differently maybe like it does the tv shows not externally as it does atm

howdy, 01 Apr 2011i have never found itunes doing anything wrong or taking ph... moreI guess that where I went wrong. I was trying to fill my device with as much content as possible. Although my photos were not lost forevers, When your a few sees and an ocean from home, "just re-synching" isn't much of an option. I had No photos to show from the last time I was in that neighborhood. what really bothered me was Itunes said it was removing photos, I said no. It occurred anyway....
I did find Itunes great for initial device setup. Just didn't work as well when I was replacing older content with newer. As most Apple software, one can figure how to do something the first time without instruction but it's unwieldy to operate the same action the 100'th time.
Thanks for the civil tone in your response. Much appreciated.

AnonD-535, 01 Apr 2011I agree Itunes is a very convenient way to spend money.
... morei have never found itunes doing anything wrong or taking photos off just make sure u dont overfil your device. even if you do they will still be on your pc to put on during next sync
theres nothing wrong with manually adding stuff but i just think its nicer to not have to flaff around with all that when ticking a box o item i want does the same job. and having to keep folders organised on device can be a pain if you do it manually, itunes just puts it in the place it needs to go with minimal fuss

Itunes did choose to boot my photos when I tried to put too many videos on my device. Truly disapointing as last vacations photos was THE MOST IMPORTANT content on my iPod touch. Nothing like promising to show the photos and not having any. There's nothing convenient about having to verify the latest synchronization didn't delete ones content.
I just don't see the downside of managing ones data oneself. automatic management requires many options to satisfy a large percentage of the users. Not exactly the norm with apple's software.
Itunes is like having an employee that always interprets instructions, doing everything a little different than asked.

Anonymous, 26 Mar 2011dude, stop barking here. Yours maybe different from mine es... morethe reason itunes is convinient is because if i buy tv show then plug my ipad in to sync it auto adds it for me
if i buy an app on my iphone and sync it next time i sync my ipad it will be also added to my device
when i plug my iphone/ipad in itunes tells me if theres an update and then does it
if i loose my data i can resync
if i loose either device of get a new ipad 2 when i connect i can resync from my last back up
its all about simplicity, i dont want to spend hours dragging stuff onto my phone i want to tick a few boxes and click sync
i only wish there was a better way to manage photos with itunes

I like how the Playbook was not mentioned as a competitor in this review. The truth is...it really is a competitor and should've been mentioned.
