There are a couple of mistakes in the article...
I got my Arc on the 31st of March, and it didn't come with an 8GB MicroSD card, but a 16GB one. It did also come with a HDMI-cable. I understand that these "errors" can be explained by the difference in the packaging between different areas in the world, but which one is the "official" version then? The versions that are already released (in Sweden for example) or the versions that aren't released yet?
Also - and probably even more important - this statement is completely wrong: "Display doesn’t have auto brightness control". The display DOES control the brightness automatically with the ambient light sensor. You can't turn it off though, so I can understand that GSMArena missed it.
Correct/clarify these informations and I'll be happy :)

I saw an unboxing on another review site that shows an HDMI cable being included. This should maybe be double-checked.

The Qualcomm MSM8255 SoC supports HSPA+ with 14 Mbps downloads and 5.76 Mbps uploads. So why doesn't the Arc support such data rates???!!

USing the x10 for the past 8 months has been great.the arc will make usage still better.se os is more stable than others.also sony and ericsson always try to giv the best like k750, s700, p900, w810 x1, etc.

The UK boxes will have HDMI cables in.
Also, the arc is available from £25 a month on contract, I doubt the 2x or Galaxy SII will be that cheap!

I think this Arc (or all Arcs, or all SE Xperia lineup) have a locked equalizer settings somewhere in the firmware and hope SE fixes this mistake soon. If Neo has the same problem, SE won't have my money.

I don't want a Samsung, I don't want Samsung's flawed software, I don't want Samsung's flawed AMOLED display, I don't want a smartphone that looks and feels like cheap crap, I don't want a smartphone that need customs ROMs or endless updates to function properly.
The Arc has everything I (and a lot of other people) want, in a good looking package, with excellent performance out of the box.

I really appreciate your unbiased way of telling how it is GSMARENA. I really mean it.
Havent read the other comments, because I dont care what other people think. I would think that there are many trolls as there usually is, but dont listen to them. This was a great review.

One comment to the comparison to other phone s though: I dont thikn that the Arc sales will be taken down too much due to the dual core phones. Only the tech guys care about that.
It will be taken down by the fact that there are so many superphones around to choose from. Never befote has there been so many at one time.
Which is of course great for everyone .:)

I think Android cant utilize dual cores in its entirety anyway right? At least not for now until the next version. I would get this phone if its more $150 or more then the Neo I will go for the Neo instead, great job SE.

Great bass levels and treble levels r a favourite thing for SE fans. With perfect frequency response we get deeper bass levels rather than extreme bass levels but I have always liked extreme bass which seems to be provided by Arc.

I've been struggling to figure out whether I should get the Arc or the Play. There are big differences, but I'm not sure how that would matter to me.
I mean, if the Sony NGP can play Android games, would I even need an Xperia Play?

Unfortunatelly, the frequency response is probably not an issue, most users like the "bass and treble boost" so I think that was really SE intention....

Apparently Timescape doesn't include email anymore. Can you guys confirm this? Sad evolution. Kinda renders the widget useless for business.
