fruitcake, 01 Apr 2011Same again from Sony Ericsson poor Audio an thats were they... moreFirst of all shut up !!! I agree that Arc doesn't have extremely great audio quality but what other SE phone has been unimpressive ??? Huh... can u provide the name ?
SE is the only mobile manufacturer to provide awesome sound quality constantly whether it's low end phones, middle range phones or high end phones.
And as GsmArena pointed out it can turn out to be unit specific issue as the unit Gsmarena has is a Test unit.

The phone must've been too close to an iPhone. It catched it's virus u.u. Look at that oversaturation on movies and stills! And it's audio sucks. Other than that it's a pretty slick device~

there's an option on the equalizer called "flat"
did you use that equalizer or "normal" equalizer?

Why are there 2 pages of conclusion? I think the pricetag would make Arc uncomparable to other vendors flagship phones. the SGSII probably would cost 100-150 more pounds.

Had the phone since yesterday - great evolution over the X10. Really like it!

i just fiddled with the Arc today (its already available in Pune, India) at the Sony World showroom... the device is a thing of beauty!!!

btw HDMI cable was included in the box and no specific app is required to launch the HDMI mirroring.. HDMI mirroring starts immediately as the HDMI cable is plugged in... home screen is also mirrored, movies look great... sound quality has greatly improved over the X10 (the phones speakers are really loud)...

This would have been the smartphone of my choice, if it were available 3 months ago. I just couldn't wait, and went for the galaxy s.
