siti, 10 Sep 2011just have this phone almost a week. need advice on some is... moreDude,this is to let you know,we cannot make video calls over the network as we can in Nokia 3G phones.The reason is basically Android Operating System doesn't support for it.The only way you can make video calls is over internet(S I P)account using applications like Skype or yahoo.I own this phone,and not all Android phones support video calling over the network though they have a front camera.

Battery life is abysmal, wifi reception is bad. My ipad(which is not very well knows for it's wifi range) kicks it's ass.
Also the compass acts up in google maps, navigation and skymap, yet works on in in standalone compass app.
It also uses a lot of data just idling with gtalk, facebook, gmail and foursquare active(around 20MB/day). BE VERY AWARE of it. Your bill at the end of the month might be painful.
I'm going to sell my phone soon and buy a tried and tested Nokia(good battery life, free offline gps nav, good wifi, well built, no-nonsense fast user interface). Everything else is a joke.

1. i still can't make setting of 3g video call - already checked with the network operator, they asked me to ask the phone provider. i email to sony centre, they advised me to search for android market to install the video call apps. unable to choose which one to install. guys, pls check it..
2. how on earth to extend the length of text message?

I received my X... moreHi There, I bought this phone 12 Days back, and i am unable to find any strategic sound in the phone. This phone is really awesome, except its battery is a battery of a normal phone and does not backup good when we use smart phone features continuously.
Rest the phone is super cool, super features, super performance, touch is much cool as iphone's, even much more smooth than that even.

Should use 1800 MAh or 2200 MAH batteries for smartphones for best performance. See, if SE comes out with more powerful battery for xperia mini pro in future then i will surely go to buy that battery for my this new buy. Hardware/Battery update in this present xperia mini pro from SE would be more appreciable, as except battery the phone is too too awesome, and fulfill all requirements of a smart phone. In India i bought this phone from Hotspot and for price of 15465/- INR. And that is a super cool price for such hardware specs.

wonder that this phone can use xperia ray's battery...li-ion,1500mAh vs li-po,1200mAh on mini/mini pro/x8...my x8 seldom lasts more than 1 day...check out this picture comparison

All, Greatest phone... All the features was upgraded rather than original X10 mini pro.!!!
Display clarity is awesome..! super fast hardware performance.! seems Battery life is like usual SE's smart phone.

The phone is really nice. The phone is very smooth and fast. The touch is soo smooth and awesome with its screen is too good. The phone offers very nice features and i am loving this phone for except one thing and that is its battery.
Please note that battery of this phone is not cool. The battery sucks when you use its smart features like continuous data enabling for mailing purpose and gtalk etc other features with continous use data. Also, battery backup is not that perfect. On standby battery just go 20-22 hours and for data usage it only works around 5 hours. I suggest sony should give more efficint batteries with samart phones.
Rest Overall phone all features and performance (speed etc) is very awesome and i am in love with my phone.

This is a very awesome phone with very nice speed. Its screen and touch is superb. After a long sony launched a very very nice phone with lots of good features and very fine touch. The phone overall is very very good, but only and one big problem is battery.
Please check that battery backup is not soo cool. if you put your phone on data trasfers it will drain your battery like anything. i think sony should give better battery with smartphones, otherwise how a smartphone functionality will be achieved if we will not able to use its features for the sake of battery backup to run long. With auto sync of mail the phone is not even working for a day. It is working for around 7-8 hours max.

I have this phone, 7 days have passed and i have readed most of the comments and many of them said that the screen is poor.no buddy screen is aweesome u can see the text,images,video,anything from 179 degree and the quality of screen is awesome.and open your mind+eyes and see who is manufacture of mini pro sony ericsson and plus bravia engine okz............
the problem is-its too heavy cell,and leave the weight the width of this cell is above normal because of slider but i am getting used to it now and enjoying all the features.
and other then all a minor defect i notice was that the cover on the top used for usb and charging is very difficult to open from hand i am using some pin to pop out it.
inspite of this the phone is awesome super fast a good camera but less then wildfire s because my brother own it but hey we have front facing camera....two back cover....hd video recording,nice keys well placed and the lookz killer phone.....
