I try to inform as may people as I can...:
I received my Xperia Mini Pro today, which is a fabulous phone except for one flaw. Unfortunately as many of the existing buyers, I also became aware of the problem that our Xperia Mini Pro has got a strange electrical-static background noise in the up-right corner of the device (as far as I could figure it out, when the screen is on), you can hear it if you put your ears close, and this doesn't promise any good concerning the long term operation of the phone.
This problem has been detected weeks ago, when many users heard on playback that they recorded sth strange static noise on their video, however, apart from dim sentences on some investigation, we didn't get any clarification from SonyEricsson on any steps towards solution.
All I need is a clear confirmation of the characteristics of the problem from SE, information on the repairment of our device or change it to a phone that operates without this noise, thanks!
Can you help me giving meaningful info on this topic?! Should I return my phone, or is the problem repairable? I wouldn't copy here the shaking off answers on mail from SEAnswers Customer support, please answer correctly, as you'd like to receive a clear answer being in my place.

can anyone tell me how's the battery life of this phone.. for how many days will it drains the battery? is it the same with the previous x10 mini pro that sucks the battery faster? plz answer tnx in advance

Guys really please tell me does this phone supports video calling with SIM.. does any one tried it? its not the video calling over internet based applications its purely form a 3G video call... please confirm

Brilliant review.. Before reading this review, I was considering HTC ChaCha, too, but now, it's out of questinn. I'll be definitely buying this phone now!!

However you can also download different apps to make calls through market.
Tried it, and its actually very good quality both sound and image.

Incorrect information does not help people make and informed decision. It is a brilliant phone for the price, only small software bugs let it down, however they should be fixed in the next sw update.

It doesn't have video" calling" as that is not available in android. Is only video chat in Gtalk and Skype.
Truly a great phone by Sony Ericsson. It's also extremely cheap for its capabilities.

AnonD-252, 26 Aug 201118 mm and 136 g is not "mini", but 320 x 480 pixe... more320x480 pixels is very much usable for a 3 inch screen in fact it looks crisp and sharp, not unless you have terrible/ very bad eyesight. Also the review praised the mini pro's excellent sunlight legibility.

It has 400mb memory to keep its low price and also to give consumers more choice. Some people might not need large space so 400mb plus the included 2gb microsd card is enough for them while keeping the prices reasonable, while those who need large storage can always spend a little extra to buy a large microSD.

18 mm and 136 g is not "mini", but 320 x 480 pixels and 400MB storage is too "mini" and not usable!

Can any one please confirm whether this phone supports 3G video calling or not? If not then please suggest any android phone with 3G video calling capability having touch+QWERTY same as Xperia mini pro.
