Those who say Android hangs, crashes or fails - are typical noobs at android. If you know how to use the phone(any droid phone) you wouldn't have this problem. You're probably trying to do noobish with the phone. which is why the phone might seem like it's freezing, but in actual fact, the phone just stops responding because its stunned by your stupidity. And Iphone user too, when saying Iphone is better, yes IOS might be better, but dont ever for get the fact of who manufactures your precious phone. Answer? Well that's very simple, it's samsung. The only unique thing about Iphone is IOS, the rest of the phone is made by samsung. *clears throat*
I have had pretty bad droid phones but never once has android OS failed me by hanging or freezing even though I have pushed each phone to it's limits. That being said, I couldn't be happier with my S3. :)

I have not had any issues with my S III on Verizon. No hang ups, handles any job perfectly, and the features described here are just the tip of the iceberg. There are limitless possibilities in what this phone can do. So far saying I'm impressed is an understatement!

GSMArena battery test is somehow unreliable.
it says (in words) that Samsung Galaxy S3 battery last longer than LG Optimus 4X HD. BUT in reality, LG battery last MUCH longer than SGS3.
then i guess true comparison is when we test both phone out by ourself, so we can know for sure. i know coz i did that already.
cheers.

Question - does this phone support micro-SIM only and not the mini-SIM? Because that's a deal killer for me.

3 days with S3 White
Design wise: not the best, HTC designs are much better, i even prefer my old C7 design, but the white S3 is way much better than the blue one as i prefer to hold a TV remote control than holding the blue S3.
Display wise: WoW, i had some doubts about the screen, as now there are IPS, Super IPS 2, Super Amoled plus screen technologies, but this screen along with the RGB sensor and screen modes from Samsung it blows minds.
Performance: WOW again, i feel i can install Photoshop CS on this device.
Camera wise: i took pictures and videos they are awesome even in low light, i don't need better sensors or bigger MPs.
Screen UI wise: i still prefer untouched ICS, much simpler, or maybe its just me as i got used to ICS out of the box on my Lenovo thinkpad.
Battery wise: 2 days my ass, 18 hours is the max for this device, and yes i am loading lot of apps and i deactivated the auto-brightness even for browser, i want to enjoy my new device screen and 4core CPU or what else i bought a powerful device like that? this device need at least a 3000 mAh.
Usability wise: well i had some regrets just 2 hours after i bought the S3, I CANNOT CALL THE S3 IS A PHONE IT'S ALMOST A TAB, it's impossible to use it with one hand unless you are a NBA player, so as a daily business phone it's not practical at all, and i still prefer Nokia to make calls.
OS wise: LoL, well its Android, not belle, not IOS and not WP, so yup it's the best.
Overall: I am glad that i bought the S3, sooner or later i will get use to its huge size and i will start optimize usability to get a better battery life, and since i bought the S3 i didn't touched my tablet and this exactly what i mean when i say its not a phone its almost a tab.

Ratna, 18 Jun 2012Hi All,
I'm using S III from last 1 week. Below are few ... moreHi Ratna.
To answer your questions:
1) This has been happening to others as well.
2) Polaris Office (the full version) is currently unavailable for download. Though the pop-up claims you can download it from "Samsung More Service", there is no such website or anything like it on Samsung's Applications on the phone.
3) You have to go to "Developer's Options" and check the box that says "Enable USB Debugging"
4) You could install 3rd party apps from Google Play or you could simply use the "Developer's Options" to limit the number of apps running in the background.
Hope that helps.
