I find personally that the iPhone is simply a smartphone for the noobs that shouldn't be using one to begin with. Droids are great granting you know and understand how to use a smartphone properly. You don't just buy a smartphone because of what it is but, with the actual ability to use it properly. It's an open source linux based os. So i guess all droids should really have a boot screen prompting "NOOBS BEWARE!!!" lmao

AnonD-55371, 18 Jun 2012I got the S3 yesterday, since I owned a iPhone 4S here the ... moreThanks for that comparison because I was considering to try SIII somewhere down the road. Can't get use to other phones since using iPhone but well, I would want to think of a change and wondering if SIII will be good to choose apart from using iPhone. This comparison tells me that I will not regret to change :)

All Smartphones, 28 Jun 2012Hi Ratna. To answer your questions: 1) This has been ... moreI just saw the new Android phones that were aunnnoce at CES and i would not be getting none of these, that you see in this video. The phone i would be getting for sure is the new AT&T inspire 4G (a.k.a Desire). We should see this phone this summer in stores.

rcl4444, 17 Jun 2012Wrong blog for that. Check on XDA developers or just Googl... moreWas it necessary to eenritly disable the cell mode' on Galaxy S 2?I have been using OpenSignalMaps on my S2 for a while now and I absolutely loved it. Unfortunately few days ago I performed an update'(downgrade?) which disabled the cell view mode. I thought the update somehow corrupted the app as the warning message saying the cell mode has been disabled appeared only after I cleared the app data in app management (not to mention the cell mode button is still visible, but not working which itself is a little confusing). Needless to say I was quite angry I spent some time trying to figure out what went wrong with the update.I understand that from OpenSignalMaps' point of view a phone unable to report its signal strength is useless as it does not contribute to the map, however I would like to petition in favor of restoring the cell view for SGS2 anyway. My suggestion is that instead of eenritly disabling cell view, the signal data sharing should be disabled until the bug is fixed. Regards,V

the only problem with SGS3 is RAM.

"It doesn't look good. This Galaxy S III apparently malfunctioned while in an in-car holster, causing some substantial melting and burn marks across the lower half of the device. The global HSPA+ iteration of Samsung's new flagship apparently sparked into white flames, followed by a bang. While it's certainly not the first smartphone to implode in transit, the damage -- along the base but separate to the charging port -- looks pretty substantial and although the screen still apparently worked, reception was dead. The phone has been whisked off to a repair center through phone retailer Carphone Warehouse for the full autopsy. User dillo2k10 was left unscathed, but it's apparently left some nasty molten plastic remain on the inside of his car. Hit up the gallery link below for some more scorch-marked close-ups.":)
