Bad battery life. Red paint is started to peel off. Bad plastic quality. I will never buy a Sony phone.

I have Xperia mini pro.. And i want to change it with sola with the bigger screen..
but it's still make me confuse..
With the battery! No front camera!
what will i do?
Still with the mini pro or get the new sola?

I don't understand how you judge this phone.
After reading all these commends i was thinking of not buying this phone, but i am glad i did buy it.
The phone offers very good specs for its price and also the battery you are all complaining about lasts for about 2 days of normal uses.
By normal use i mean phone calls, 1-2 hours surfing the internet and 1-2 hours of listening to music through the headphones for every day.
The only bad thing about this phone which i think none of you mentioned is that the phone is flat and its speaker is on the bottom and when you leave the phone on a surface like cloth or something similar, the sound gets very low, but when the speaker is not covered the sound is adequately loud.

The red paint is very bad quality. After five days it started to peel off at the edges. Now my wife regrets that she didn't buy a black one. I am wondering if Sony the warranty covers this.

using this phone from past ten days..
Good phone in terms of looks & specs
But hangs a lot and bad bat'ry life.

I've bought sony xperia sola on 4th June and have not found any problem so far except call volume is little low and battery backup is not so good to use the phone for a long time. Beside all these, its a very advanced smartphone with 1 Ghz dual core processor which makes it more responsive and fast android operating smart phone. Moreover the floating touch technology and NFC makes it more interesting.

Review says, it has 5 capture mode, Normal, Scene recognition, Sweep Panorama, Sweep Multi Angle and 3D Sweep Panorama.
I only have 4 and i don't have Scene Recognition. Why is that?

Hi GSMArena, have you done a battery endurance test for this model? I wanna know if the 1320mAh battery for accepetable battery life as compared to the Xperia P. Thanks. :)

GOSH,.. my sola suddenly get blank almost 3 hours now,.plenty of time switch it on, already recharge, connect to PC, still blank,.. dunno what to do,.. oh sony,. why could this happened?? im blank too,...

All specs. Hardware of ths fone are totally almost perfect. But I hope Sony will put external/expandable memory cards in all of ıts Xperias!

Not have to send in for repairs. I would never buy a phone that did not have swappable battery. Weither it's a feature you need or not it is ridiculous, shady, and unnecessary to make such phones and is a better deal for anyone.
