Nokia Lumia 900 review: Europass

4 July 2012
It took the Nokia Lumia 900 just a few days to top the US sales charts and see delighted handshakes quickly turn into group hugs, as Nokia, Microsoft and AT&T, which carries it exclusively stateside, were busy celebrating the flagship's performance in recent months...

Pfft, Samsung Wave 3 with Bada 2.0 and Samsung Apps is way better than this turd that Microsoft has forced Nokia to make ...

Ok that might be a bit harsh as both Wave 3 & Lumia 900 are the last of their respective major OS and body platform but the end result is that the Wave 3 is still the better of both handsets.

As for the Americans buying the Lumia 900 in big numbers, how many would of bought if they were told they would not get access to WPi ...

At least Samsung have said that Bada is being transformed into Tjzen and that the Wave 3 will get Tizen support ...

Stelhen Elop must be sacked ASAP for Nokia to survive.

AnonD-31784, 04 Jul 2012People stop complaining about software updates I live in Ge... moreflagship and high end android devices always get the next (or next 2) generation of android. (even lower end phones get their updates using custom roms)

The L900 is supposed to be THE FLAGSHIP and no next generation OS?
I mean cmon, if I would want to stuck on 7.1 or 7.8 I would just simply buy a L610. The reason that users pay huge amount of money for a phone, is to stay up to date with the OS and to get the latest updates for at least 2 years

People stop complaining about software updates I live in Germany n I know many android users who haven't even gotten ICS and I dnt even want to talk about how many will not be getting Jelly beans. Google just lie that the update is out but still not everybody gets it without ending to root thier device... At the end the phone just hangs more that before...I
personal think that gsmarena didn't review the L900 like they appreciated it just because of no update because even if anyone say it's got a single core on daily usage that phone is more reliable than every android in the market...I mean I have seen many people s3 hanging from just them trying to pick a call etc... even seen people returning it too..
Love my L900 coz after a year+ switching between 3 android phone I can finally rest my head with a phone that just works when I want it to n does what I need much faster and reliable than every Android out there...

There are 2 kinds of customers and more aspects that influence will some phone will be a winner or not.

                              Customers:
                              1) normal customer that will buy his phone and never install an app or make a software update! For those, Lumia range of phones are better than any other droid.
                              2) "power user" that most of the time will install/uninstall apps, hack his phone, install Custom firmware. Android is real deal for them.
Customers "2" are 3-5% of all the customers.

Symbian is dead because is not data hungry, carriers cant make extra money.I use my N8. After 2 years of use, what i really need is good camera and good contact and calendar sync. No more, i'm busy person with no time to play with my friends telling them: look, what app i ahve installed" and after 3hours uninstalling the app beacuse there is no use of it.

So WP7 or WP8 will win the battle simply bacuse of the eco system. If i have Windows 7 or 8 on my PC I'll choose WP8 for my mobile platform. it's simple.

Some people just read the specsheet and say its just outdated and all sorts of thngs. But the fact is that, this phone is smoother and more organised than some top quad core phnes. Just go and try it ... And stop complaining about spécs. Nowaday quadcores are nt utilised properly and games have nt reached to the pc level.

nokia 80% has lost the battle. The only thing to recover nokia is to chnage OS and to lower price

Useless phone that has no market. Dead on arrival is an understatement. Unlike the great N9, which was purposefully killed by Nokia/Elop on behalf of Microsoft and their dieing WP, Lumia 900 was killed by WP itself being such a crappy OS.

I will be laughing so hard, when Lumia 900 ends up selling less than N9. Karma is a bitch.
