It has a 8.7 mp camera that's "branded" as Pureview..
Whait ..a 8.7 back illuminated sensor..thats somehow supposed to be pureview ? Thats basically a sort of Exmor R like sensor9back illuminated from Sony from ages ago foudn in almost every Xperia phone from 5 to 8 to 12 ! MP).
HEre's the plan:
1) Show off a 40+ or "insane amount of MP" camera,
2) brand every other cheap Exmor R knock off sensor a pureview sensor
3) Sell it to the mass like it a Pure view sensor.
Nice try NO kia with your fakeview !

The Nokia 920 video you write about and claim that Nokia cheated people is kinda odd logic By you guys. They never claim in the video that the material filmed with the 920. It is clearly stated in the begining of the video that it shows how the videos would look compared to it's rivals at the same class. They never claim that the video is made with Nokia 920. It's the same thing if you make a video of how the world would be like after 1000 years compared today and after that all say. That is how the world looks like in the future. So you are mixing 2 separate things. How can people really mix 2 so separate and clearly different things.

Nokia PureView 808 is nothing but technology demonstrator(pureview etc.)So,for Nokia WP smarthone its one of a critical technology,not an marketing features.

I'm wondering why they didn't include a real PureView in this phone: because the WP 8 OS is so uncapable and primitive? I wouldn't be surprised.
Nokia - you could do so much more if only you used Android. A company (Nokia) that's dependent on another one (Microsoft) will always lag behind that one that can do everything in-house (Apple, Android-based).

Lets make this clear first. I'm an Android user and I like my Xperia phone. It's the best phone I have ever used. Now to the point. Why do you spam a phone just By looking at it's specs. (Nah it's not a quad-core and has the same looking ui, it must suck). That is the most stupid logic to ever exist. First of all the dual-core s4 is as strong as the quad-cores out there. Secondly how can you only judge ui By how it looks. That is irrelevant. The wp8 shurely has all the same functions as iOS and Android. Now to the innovative stuff of the most innovative phone to come out in a long time. It has the best display and most sensitive ever made in a phone, the best 8 mp camera in it's class ever made and the new functions wp8 offers. The display has a clear Black on ultra steroids.(it alone is about the level of the best amoleds). Also it is the brightest one out there. The sensitivity of the display means it is 2.5 Times compared to the rivals. What it means is that you can use it with thick winter gloves on and even use it with fingernails. The camera has even better low lite performance than 808 purewiev if we focus only on the light capture part. The camere has the best anti shaking functions ever while you are filming. It has a complicated program in it that calculates where the object that are blurred are and re makes them at the exact location and exact shape. No other phone has this stuff. Include the new stuff Windows throws in with improved Maps By Nokia and you have the phone with most new un anticipated feature and all people care is the ui appereance(not the top features) and lack of quad-core and they don't buy it. Why has the world gone this way?

Nokia played very well here..
First it released Nokia 808 pureview, Nokia knew it would be a huge flop with it's ugly design and dying OS,Nokia just wanted to establish tremendous impression of "pureview" word with pureview 808...
Now it's impossible to achieve results like 808 with lumia 920's smaller lens and compact design, so they introduced OIS and faked some very high quality pictures/videos and tried to take full advantage of impression of "pureview" word but unfortunately they got caught!
Nokia suxx, I lost my 220$ on the shit of 5800xm a few years back due to it's shitty LCD!

Wow! Just found out that NO kia FAKED both the imaging n video capacities of the Lumia 920 in their ad campaigns by taking the pix 4m a pro grade cam n claiming they were 4m d Lumia! That really STINKS NO kia! I thot ur cams were the only good thing u had, turns out that's also crappy! Sorry NO kia, lost watever respect i had 4 u!

I do know, mega pixel count don't mean everything in terms of image quality, but this is seriously gettin BORING! Cmon guys, y'all CAN improve the cam hardware with better sensors n higher megs, if needed! Plz dnt give us anymore cheap software gimmicks n say it's an "improved cam"! The consumers deserve better than that n v need better hardware 2 go with software optimizations n this goes 2 all the BIG BOYS out there who'd b better off providing better specs 2 us than waging legal wars n enriching their alrdy fat pockets!

If you don't care about crystal clear call quality, strong signal reception, beautiful design, fastest screen (most fluid, low ms), brightest screen, best screen for viewing outdoor/in direct sunlight, amazing camera with optical image stabilization and allows five to ten times more light to be collected than the competitors, wireless charging, and next generation touch screen that can be used with gloves and fingernails, then you don't care about the Lumia 920.
