I wish there was a "Note" version of the 920.
      With about 5 inch display.
Active digitizer with at least 512 levels of pressure sensitivity.
An OneNote version based on the desktop version, for full compatibility.
And a battery to match... 3300mAh like in razr Maxx HD, would be awesome.
      And bluetooth 4.0.

Why not an Ativ version of the Note?
Well the camera, is one reason. And the display of the Note has gotten a bit too big, and I dont think samsung would go back on that.
And the glove compatibility of the 920 display.

More important is that competition has moved a bit out of users' hands. I don't see that as a good thing for the consumer.

Anonymous, 06 Sep 2012If they were "all there" it wouldn't have fallen ... moreWith that reasoning, "long term plan" means absolutely nothing, and Samsung, the biggest manufacturer of hardware is being called the most stupid company to try to create something new, i.e. Tizen.

Let me break it to YOU: EVERY new thing starts with a low market share. Whatever your "investors" are "investing" in, enjoyed 0 market share at some point.

That's the whole point: investors follow great companies and great people. And great people and companies are built on risk. They had a beginning; something apparently you can't see.

AnonD-50083, 06 Sep 2012Oh yes, and the shareholders were all there, observing and ... moreIf they were "all there" it wouldn't have fallen just 13%.
There is one thing you have to realize, in todays world you don't need to be "right there" to know what is happening, you can just track it from the comfort of your home.

Investors know money, and despite what you say I am sorry to break it to you: WP is (in economical terms) a proven turd, who just isn't last in market share because you always have to account for the "miscellaneous category" of OSes so obscure to name.
Mind you, WP is the reason Bada even appears on the market share charts (rather than just being in that misc category). WP manages to sell less than Bada, what would that tell you if you had shares in a company whose future solely depended on the success of the next iteration of such turd?

P.S. Nokia goes with an OS that deserves hardware quality. That's the image Nokia hopes to project.

Lumia 920 will be my next phone. The specs are absolutely amazing! I have an Iphone now and if Apple released specs like on the 920 everybody would be saying it's the second coming. That's marketing.

Anonymous, 06 Sep 2012Nobody can explains us how is that related with the launch ... moreI draw you a picture: someone at Nokia thought it was a good idea to say a picture of Jellybeans in a ball.
The enthusiasts obviously knew better, but those who only know markets (that is, who know how to actually make money) though this was a sign that Nokia would finally support the number one OS of the mobile world (Android).

Instead they went with the one who is yet to beat (in sales) Bada, Symbian, Blackberry(RIM), iOS and.. only then.. Android.

They may not know much about tech, but they do know (with vast experience) what decisions are money losing ones.

Said what I thought of Nokia/Microsoft prior to specs unveiled. 920 No memory card slot, I bet there a raft of other restrictions too. Nokia shares have plummeted, nothing I said I trust?

beautiful design... great specs... but... to put Nokia again on the market they gotta give us the possibility to choose another OS, the exclusivity of WP8 breaks the interest of costumers

A good step in the right direction for Nokia... wireless charging is awesome. I'll stick with my N9 for now, but looking forward to Nokia's resurgence in the smart-phone space with Lumia's.
