Apple iOS 6 review: Moving forward

26 September 2012
The next iOS version has never been as big a deal as upgrades to Android or Windows. If it ain't broke, don’t fix it, must've been the line of thinking and it's up to you to replace broke with fragmented or catching up, as needed...

it is natural when you got lost when navigating using iOS 6.. there are two solutions "Lost Mode" and "Find my Friends".

"You can say that while Android has caught up in terms of user experience with its Project Butter, iOS is trailing behind in terms of functionality."

when i've written a line with similar meaning, some iUsers said that i'm delusional but somehow when u said it, no1 say anything.... but it's good to know that my statement was nvr wrong! ^_^

How about battery life? Is it better, same or worst when using the 4S with iOS 6?

Unless I'm missing something, you cannot set a song from your library as a ringtone in iOS6. That and the inability to transfer files via Bluetooth really make iOS feel primitive as hell.

The absence of Steve Jobs is becoming more and apparent. Before his demise Apple was skyrocketing leaving all others in a cloud of dust. Things are different now, Apple has lost its momentum without him and will eventually stagnate. It's time to roll your sleeves up people and get back to CREATION rather than MAINTENANCE.

P.S I am not anybody's fanboy and I don't intend to become one.

I have upgraded my Apple iPhone 4S from iOS 5.1.1 to iOS 6.0 .

Below are the problems i am facing with my iPhone 4S now.

                              1. Apps keep closing. I can barely use them for a minute or two.
                              2. Wifi looses signals. Download speed slow on Wifi.
                              3. Battery Drains even if i don't use my iPhone.

Is there any way to resolve these issues. I can afford Battery Drain and even the Wifi Signals lost but apps closing after a minute or two irritates me.
How should i downgrade back to iOS 5.1.1 . Or if there is any solution to these problems please help me with these.

I see both arguments for and against, but as a happy iOS and Android user the differences are subjective to a point of view.

iPhone is playing catchup, and while new innovations are coming, the current consumers are happy it seems.

This year has been disappointing for me, for all i have seen are faster processors and bigger screens. NFC and wireless charging are in their infancy as features go. I'm going back to iOS, but will likely move again sometime in the future. Choice.

"The iOS 6 will be able to stand its ground for a good while but probably won't be able to win new territory quite as comfortably"

Meanwhile the iPhone 5 is smashing sales records $1 trillion dollars on the horizon LOL

Apple keeps fooling it’s consumers with bring something other smartphone manufacture’s been manufacturing in their flagships and even their low-end devices long back… but I really appreciate how apple come up with their non-original features and present in such way that it looks interesting and tempting… nevertheless, a real smartphone user knows what he wants and would rather choose carefully before spending money on a beautiful looking brick… I saw the iPhone 5 advertisement featuring and introducing panorama and they made it look beautiful and interesting. However, it’s so idiotic and thoughtlessness of Apple to come up with such feature and self-righteously calls it Innovation! Other advertisement says “being the laws of physics”! I mean common, all the other smartphone manufactures have done this but they never focused on advertizing it because they introduced reasonably amazing NEW feature in their flagships that are worth parsing and hence the spotlight is on other things rather than claiming “reduced size” or “Panorama Feature”! Apple comparatively has nothing new to talk about and what they are talking is a god damn too AGED! Grow up Apple Fans, you are been fooled by Apple again and again! If you want to show your loyalty, then please show it to some true innovation and the latest and greatest in mobile world. To be honest, SGS3 and HOX are the true leader and SGN2 will again set its benchmarks higher!
