HTC One X+ review: The complete package

08 November 2012
There's no denying that the HTC One X was an amazingly solid smartphone. On the surface it even looked like as good a package as its main rival at the time, the Galaxy S III, and having a head-start to the market it was almost expected for it to become a huge success...

As u no htc one x was the first one to bang in the market. It boosted the htc sales by loads but stil had sm drawbacks hpwevr was the best smartphone in the market. Then galaxy s3 made its way crushin the htc market. Samsung appeared to be smart, it took alk the features of one x in s3 moreover coverup all the drawbacks in htc one x making itself the best one. But now htc did the sme it considered almost all the s3 features nd although s3 had very negligible drawbacks added new features and made htc one x+ sn amazing utility device. Sgil htc has to improve on its very imp drawback dat is non user accessible battery. Dis phone agn goes weak on this part howevr the batery capacity and the battery life has deliberately been tried to increase nd dis phone may crack the htc market value back again.

i thought htc were going to focus on making a few good smartphones rather than flooding the market like smasung with endless entry level phones. they clearly got it all wrong and havebt come with anything worthwhile no wonder there losing money hand over fist. the one x is good but haow annoyed are you if your in contract and then they release the one x plus what a con

Finally htc is returning to its roots with a proper phone on all grounds (Speed, design, build quality, etc). Now lets hope they bring back the sd slots and im happy again ;)
Too bad this wasnt released at first, instead of the normal one X. Im a (satisfied) one S owner now, but mightve gone for the x+ if it where arround then.

Replacable battery is a boon when the battery itself finishes earlier or faulty u can exchange or change much easier and cheap. I'm a samsung afficianado yet i love htc for their asthetics. Storage wise bigger is better, right? Adding storage with much cheaper options is always beter.

That's the problem with both phones and tablets, distributors and dealers stock up on the smallest storage models only. How many times I tried to find a 32gb tablet here, it's impossible, even if all tablets are available on 32gb. For sure we will never see the 64gb htc here. Never. Let's just learn from history and gave that fact already, then about that the one x is only 32gb in real life.

That's m4a file type. Now it takes like 1.7 gb. Ok ? I can chose the compresion for the files. Make sure it's at least 20+kbps, i go for 32kbps, higher is a waste it sounds the same...and make sure it/ the parametric type. 32kbps parametric eaac+ sounds just like 128kbps mp3. So now if i get a phone with 8gb, take 3gb for formating and a few games photos and files, so that's 5gb for m4a files like 70gb of mp3.

I own this phone and every thing on it is brilliant including battery life and camera. In my opinion a far better phone than Samsung and Iphone 5 (their interfaces are horrible). Why would you need an SD card slot when the phone has 64Gb storage? Why do you need to take the battery out?- I never do. 4G is a waste of time at the moment as it isnt properly up and running yet. HTC phones are far more classy, better made and innovative than all the other phones out their put together!

I thought the One X+ comes with LTE like the One XL. This looks like a glaring omission on the part of HTC. Not quite there yet unlike S3 or iPhone 5. Sure they have the One XL. But that's an 'old' model already.
