I think Sony has hit the ditch. They should consider going back to high-profile consumer electronics and stop making crappy phones. Low-range phones with medium range prices? and medium-ranged ones at premium prices? I don't think so. I heard they plan to sell 50 million units next year... good luck with that! Furthermore their "update" strategy blows. Thank God we have GSM Arena to look for better options.

50hour stamina test is not offered by the Xperia U. So Xperia J has both bigger screen and better battery time. Excellent!

Galaxy Ace 2 and Xperia U are faster and cheaper than this shit

Its not like WP8 or iOS.lol! troll sony ericsson live with walkman and xperia arc s and ace plus and ace 2 are way faster than lumia 710 and uses much less battery with much more features especially true multitaskinG! here s1 chipset with high resolution and ics is a bit buggy but no so!

the fifth one i read already that gave this phone a bad review. even in comment section you will read a lot of disgruntled buyer of this phone. how can sony plan to be number one when they can't even make a descent mid range phone. if i were sony i would repair the flaws of this phone asap or more backlash will come that might affect their future phones.

I am a sony fan ever since but its phones like this that makes me wonder why I still am... Lenovo P700i kicks the butt of this phone out in the open, I don't know what sony is doing but this definitely won't get you on track... A piece of advice, you can never sell a phone on name alone there is too much competition already, even IPhone that has an apple logo on it is feeling its decline already so sony please get your act together and produce solid phones again, I really loved my sony k750i during its era, one of the phones worth bragging during that time, but now really your giving me lesser reason to purchase another sony phone....

we just bought xperia J last Saturday and now we see the defect. it's slow and it has a minute log before it shows on the screen. slow when you type your messages on text, it have very sensitive screen when you touch the icons..

It has an S1 processor that's why it is slow. They would have done better using the same Novathor processor of the Xperia U

The Ace 2 doesnt cost that much more and offers dual core A9 and 768MB RAM. Thats a no-brainer really, unless you only want good looks. Sure Xperia J and Miro and Tipo does work but they are seriously underpowered and laggy in the UI.
I am not sure if the author of this review is aware how cheap Ace 2 has become, its very cheap here in Philippines at least, just above Desire V, almost no difference that should be a dealbreaker, the only problem is the somewat tiresome old design of Ace 2, it loos like a copy of an iphone copy.

those products were made by two different companies.
the only similarities are their name (Sony), but the rest are different.
so do not expect any Sony (Ericsson) mobile product will have the same qualities as Sony Walkman products.

don't judge Sony by this phone. it's so much worse value than all there other phones which are mostly good value. it's like the galaxy s3 mini and how that is terrible value
