lmfao why do people bias device performance on f*king outdated benchmarks, you're an idiot, I can get higher scores with my outdated S2. Becuz benchmarks are pointless. Even Android 2.3.7 will give higher scores on Antutu. The nexus 4 has full VSync Triple 60 FPS, it's 100X faster then Optimus G & every other device on the market and never laggs through swiping, gaming etc. Maybe the device is heating up because of GPU rendering, all androids without VSync & JB patches it's most of the time CPU rendering, which is why it laggs.. Probably JB will hit LG optimus G in 21/12/2112

What did I say all along, the GN4 is good for the money, but performance has been stated as WELL BELOW other S4 phones.
Not just LG G, the PadFone 2 smashes it too. Subsidise my ass, this phone has some cheap ass parts running the show, that's why it gets smashed. No magic here.

This phone is for people who can't afford a Samsung Galaxy S III. A budget high-end phone. It has all features of a high-end phone but don't expect too much about the quality. I've got one but returned it after 4 days. Coming from SGS3, it's a downgrade.

As an apple fan I have to say this phone is a must have for an android fan! I have an htc one x which is ok but for the price and stock android this is perfect. In fact for someone not particular bothered by super specs (even though this is a top of the range phone) but want a smartphone this is better than all the mid and low range handsets as its top line at a midrange price. If I loved android I would own nexus

NOTE 2 is still the king :-)
I am really considering the 16GB version for my wife (to replace her iphone 4). She doesn't need much space so thats ok.

The left side of the phone features the microSIM compartment (you'll need the SIM eject tool to open it)
Really original design...!

Its not available in South Africa...and those that are importing it and making it available are charging almost double the bargain retail price it is available at....most disappointing.

16GB Storage is simply not enough, the world has moved on. 32GB is standard now.
I'm afraid the screen and the lack of storage options will put people off.

"It could be a driver issue as Google didn't have all that long to optimize the chipset for the Jelly Bean 4.2 platform or a matter of the benchmark developers optimizing their software for the new Android release.
If the real-life experience is anything to go by, it's more a case of the latter as the Google Nexus 4 is a blazing fast smartphone. Hold-ups were absent throughout the interface and there was no lag to speak of either." then Note II, then HTC DNA/Butterfly then LG G.. >Samsung GS3...> OneX+

This review forgets that the price point of ~$300 is only available for few countries. Consumers from the rest of the world have to pay almost double of that price. And even in the countries with googleplay, if you buy the nexus4 in retail stores it's considerably pricier. It's not like everyone can go and buy the Nexus4 for $300...

This is not much of an upgrade from the Nexus, what a waste and why do they put that dumb navigation bar on the bottom of the screen ??
