Battery is more then double after this update. Check with your carrier when this update is avilable. Camera is improved and Battery life is amazing after this upate.

Have got one 2 days bfore, battery live sucks, also heating issue on the back. Very good GUI, intuitive, fast response, web browser is great better than iphone5, virtual keyboard is the best!, pls fix the power design and heating issue...

i was wipeing my z10 and the plug to pc came out in middle of it. now there is an inage on screen when it comes that phone connect tp pc but when i di it is not reconized , i need help please.

Blackberry made a HUGE mistake by releasing this first instead of focussing on the Q10 which has real promise.

Was very eager to get the toy but when started using it felt like a dumb!. Key features like Social feeds, sharing etc are missing. Apps not workin properly. A very hectic way to get your contacts synced where as desktop application for OS 7 and the previous one is much easier to organise and get hold of all the data. No facility of syncing Back up from OS 7. Last but not least why should a customer pay heavy amount for a fone which has an impression of Eunuch.
I think the product has been marketed hastily without keeping in mind the consequences and proper research. In my humble opinion Z10 will make BB suffer more then the previous ones

The official confirms WHAT'S APP coming to Blackberry 10 in March. There's no doubt, every folks I show up my Z10 talk to me. "I want that bloody Phone, mate !"

Blackberry have to do something special for the fans of bb all round the world but to me right here bbz10 is not perfect or special like apple5 or apple4 this real mistake from bb to produce something scrab and put hight cost buck on it .we needs something special not this fuc**king handset like this ahhhhhhh too bad.no more drama in others company like this nonsence bb with hell of stupid devise bb10

To get it to last long, please do the following:
Make sure you have the latest BlackBerry World update;
Disable music updates in BBM (because it is constantly connecting to the internet to receive them);
Use ONLY the 750 ma charger that came with the phone, as opposed to older BB chargers;
Turn off NFC and;
Turn off WiFi if not in use or if not needed.
Trust me folks, you will notice a huge difference

Having a data plan on the Z10 opens it up to the internet like BIS does on pre-BB10 handsets. BlackBerry has essentially made getting on the internet a simple matter of putting a sim card in and browsing.

Blackberry has a 95% share of the market in south africa,with bb10 having NO blackberry internet service their market share is expected to drop by 95%,For so many years blackberry seemed like the only choice for south africans and its going to be sad to see that end,END OF AN ERA!!!

I have been waiting anxiously for Z10 because my 4 years old Storm(which I steel love)really needed to be put in rest. As a loyal BB user finally I have got my Z10 two days ago and I'm bit disappointed. All the joy of getting new toy is gone.
1.I have spent 2 days trying to transfer my contacts - no problem with email accounts, but phone book - good luck. Somehow the new desktop software doesn't support my Storm. Anyway I have managed to transfer contacts to Outlook 2007 and what? OS10 doesn't support it. I had to use tricky method do work it around - import contacts from Outlook to one of the email account and sync it with Z10. Really pain in the neck.
2.There is no auto on/off option which was a great battery saver feature.
3.Amount of preloaded ringtones and notification tunes is a joke compare to the old Storm
4.Let's hope I would be able to customize the screen (move icons around or get rid of not needed ones). I liked very much the ability of making the BlackBerry phones really "mine phones".
I think BB still has a long way to catch up with the competitors.
