Great review. The S4 might be overall better but I will get the one for it's design. I own a galaxy S and I don't think plastic is a big let down since I have dropped mine over 20 times and it's still in good shape (never used a case). From the review even though the S4 won many aspects it was only by small margins except for the camera which I don't use that much and 64 GB is more than enough for me.
My only concerns are the non-removable battery and Htc sense is not as effective and feature rich like touch-wiz.

Its not important which one is better or which one has a better benchmark performance, the only think that matter is which one do you like the most, and thats the one You should buy (iphone 5,htc one, galaxy s4, note 2, lg optimus g, xperia z) they are all great phones, and for every day usage they are more than fine phones but in the end that is all they are PHONES. So please stop being so naive and fooled by commercials.
So im going for Htc One couse i yust like it and i do not need my phone to be best yust so i can brag around that i have the best phone couse guys thats yust potetic.
If you want a smaller screen go for iphone, if you prefer all kinds of features etc go for s4/note2 and if you like waterprof phones buy sony.

Both phones are really good, it's just that sgs4 is for mainstream consumers and htc one for people with a more refined taste.

-> Sense to have sense 5.0 ULTIMATE UI EVER !!
-> video sound quality with dedicated MIC which is sooo good to hear check the above video itslef.
--> Battery life is so good when comapred to S4 (dont crib about the standby time cause it dosnt count when you acutally use the phone and more or less you can use juice defender to take care of the battery idle time)
--> Just a little down side when comapred to S4 in benchmarks . I dont care about the processor cause it changes every year..
--> HTC is the only company who changes the whole device with monney if you dont like there product in 15 days of purchase.
--> Blink feed.. think about gsm + fb + twitter + other feeds in your home page and its super smooth. I will never miss a post !! HORAY !!

-Big screen in good body size
-Amoled enhanced (no more PenTile effect visible)
-Gorilla glass 3
-Best battery life and removable !!
-Sd card slot
-Better camera than htc one and xperia z
-Better update support than Sony and Htc
HTC ONE IS JUST GOOD DESIGN, NO MORE

I don't what's wrong with HTC, their designs are amazing, I'll take HTC Sense over TouchWiz any time, but are the removable battery and the card slot too much to ask? Sony made a card slot and managed to make the Xperia Z IP57 certified.
