However, "boom" speakers without bass is a fact. What I'm trying to point out is, where are the things HTC promises? Boom speakers, without boom effects??

In fact if what you are saying is true then its incredible that HTC has given such an awesome speaker performance from a small output.
SGS4 has absolutely no answer for HTC's loudspeaker.

I agree that the low resolution of the One camera may be a deal breaker for some, but there's simply nothing else that the S4 can do visibly better, however, the better build quality and ergonomics certanly is something that everyone will feel and appreciate.
And I just find it pretty funny people saying that they don't care about looks, but they love their big super AMOLED screens with more pixel density than your eyes can see. A bit of hipocrisy I say.

both the devices are great..gsmarena did a fine job analyzing these flagships. i personally like the htc one because of its design and features to support it like blinkfeed, boomsound and zoe. SGS4 would have come to my wishlist if its design were not so SGS3 and note 2 mixure. samsung really has upper hand in most of the specs but i loved SGS3 better. the prototype samsung brought in the launch of exynos 5 and flexible screens was awesome i was expecting those kind of improvements in SGS4. I clearly give it to HTC one in this because they deserve it. samsung can beat htc like taking a candy from baby. samsung really dissapointed me with the design come on guys samsung is a clear winner but its like buying SGS3 again. My vote goes for HTC ONE.

I dunno about you guys. But looks cannot help me in my daily work. Being having an aluminum body does not make the photos look better in any way. Nor it can bring more convenience to myself.
But before the HTC fans are so proud of their phone, take a look at this.

The boom speakers are not really that boombastic after all. You think the speaker stretches all the way across the bottom? Look again! Just like the UltraPixel claimed by HTC, does it make the photos really that ultra after all?
I will rather use a plastic phone from Samsung, that really brings me speed with good functions. Plastic so what? TVs and other players are plastics too and they are working fine.
And btw, I suspect the troll is using multiple nicks to spam here. So, have fun!

When people talk about build quality, please DO NOT mention sony, because the Xperia Z build quality is BAD.
The connector covers over time stop working so the waterproof stops working(even mentions it in the manual)
And if dragontail is so good and shatterproof, why does sony put a cheap screen protector on EVERY single sony phone including the Z?
Not quality at all.

There is nothing wrong with the build quality of the s4 and if you're dumb enough to go for looks instead the specs then go with the htc.

AnonD-104517, 27 Mar 2013S4 blows htc one in every way except looks... huh who cares... moreFor me the only problem of the One is the low camera resolution, if the S4 is better in other aspects it's only slightly, but I REALLY think that the design and build quality of the Galaxy S4 is a total deal breaker, sincerely I don't want a expensive phone that looks and feels so cheap which is even worsened due the fact that it's a smudge magnet. So honestly, for me, even if the S4 is slightly better in a some things, it doesn't justify the A LOT worse build quality and looks, I would definely go for the One, it's not like I would be annoyed if the screen and the camera are a bit worse, but I would be complete annoyed with the S4 design looks and build quality, and full of smudge.

S4 blows htc one in every way except looks... huh who cares for looks if it is packed with a tonne of features n a hell lot of performance... this comparison makes no sense(oops htc's ui)... obsessed samsung fanboys like me will definitely go for S4... n there are more 50 million plus people who thinks like me... why gsmarena never gives a clear cut conclusion that who is winner among the two like it gave in every segment of competition???

But up-scaling it will badly impact the quality as it actual was not that bad if they not upscale.
