I can only choose one for now so it's the HTC One for me:) follow your hearts guys, you won't go wrong with all these phones, "to each his own."

Anonymous, 11 Jun 2013The S4 looks fine, social networking is at least on par, an... moreI guess S4 wins the battery comparison (basing on reviews).. but w/ the HTC One, I dont mind charging every night since I'm a medium to heavy user, and I dont want to wait the next day just to charge the phone (you never know what happens in the middle of the day so i make sure I have my phone fully charged during daytime). With the HTC One it has enough juice to last me another day but again..

Anonymous, 11 Jun 2013The S4 looks fine, social networking is at least on par, an... moreDurability lies on the hammer of the beholder hehe.. both phones are durable.. i had a samsung F480, and an HTC Desire, dropped those phones a couple of times and they stayed with me for years (f480 is still working.. still using the Desire for backup).. so I expect both S4 and HTC One to be durable.. will I drop my HTC One, or will you drop your S4 just for kicks? No way!!! Which is better? I wont even dare to experiment.. btw HTC One has a few share of torture tests in youtube, you'll be surprised:)

I'm holding both phones now, people in my office give it to HTC One hands down (unless they're all deaf or something).. Screen space is a tad better on S4, but with display on full for both phones, most here at the office found the HTC One's natural look much better (even the S4 owner agrees).. hey I'm just doing live comparison here:)

Lets see if hand gestures will still be practical in lets say.. in a year.. if people are still talkin about it, or other companies have copied it, then i'm wrong, its not a gimmick.. so lets wait in a year then i'll answer you.. for now, i dont see any use for it, if HTC One had that feature, honestly I wont use it (maybe play with it a few days).. people i know who have the S4 dont use it at all.. btw, S4 is a very good phone, if I had extra money I'll buy one for my wife, but she still has her SGnote2 and she rather have an HTC next time hehe..

camera update:
I just compared the camera focusing of the HTC One to my officemate's Sammy GalaxyS4, the S4 had a hard time keeping up.. so I just told my officemate who was really bothered: "Hey, don't ask too much from your S4's camera or any other smartphone cam, that's mainly the reason why we buy dslr cameras".... hehe good job HTC One!!!

The S4 is also actually more durable. Aluminum scratches and dents. Gorilla Glass 3 is stronger as well.
And also please explain which is gimmicky. Using both cameras at once? Not having to touch the screen to answer calls, texts, pause/play videos, scroll pages/web pages, view content, and so on. Please tell us which is so gimmicky? Or is it because nobody else offers all those features?

Both phone are great, it's depends on our preferences about what phones that we needs... I used galaxy s4 (octa core version) and HTC one, for me galaxy s4 is great but the software still not 100 ready esp for octa core version while HTC one is great esp. For build quality plus HTC One Sense 5 great but I still worried with HTC after sales services in Indonesia (HTC one just launched yesterday here due to supply chain and regulation issues)... at this time i choose HTC one but will think again after Samsung realease new updated for galaxy s4 octo core..
