AnonD-177078, 19 Aug 2013I experienced overheating above the camera when I browse th... moreMy lumia 520 also gets heated up very quickly while surfing/playing games.But let me tell you it does heats up but not very much and remains same for hrs.I stream videos for 4 hrs at a stretch and play games for avg 2 hrs(high end games like six guns/royal revolt).Absolutely no problems due to heat.And moreover with fan on , it heats up to a negligible temp.

Forgot to mention office is included, editing of word and exel....viewing of PowerPoint...all smooth unlike running OpenOffice on android...ugh

Just bought this and love it...$118 was too good to resist, my other phone is a dual core with gig of ram running CyanogenMod 10.1, android 4.2.2....and I'll take wp8 every time...mass storage and microsd support now tips the scales for me...if in windows explorer it comes up blank, move all photos/music/data etc to your PC using a card reader then let windows or phone format SD card then put all your stuff back on and mass storage works...android does funny things to sd cards...performance is silky smooth like an iPhone....for 5mp the camera is decent and Nokia's apps include panorama and smart shots and tons of other great features...Nokia drive is the best bar none....I travel in the US and data roaming is obscene...drive let's you pre download maps and run data free...worth the 19.95 for global nav...620 and up includes global free, but twice the price...this phone is everything for a ridiculous price...shell is covered in industrial rubber no case needed, it wraps around outside edges making this cheap phone look unibody, the buttons are part of the shell, awesome innovation...two cons, I hate micro USB its too fragile miniusb is so strong and doesn't take any more space...and SD card not hot swappable you have to remove battery...hahahaha hardly con at this price...

Lumia 520 less secure against virus:
strange thing happened that I was receiving/dialing call but not listening other person voice...... Also when I put WiFi on it got off automatically.... In end got solved by deleting all call records, all net history deleted and restarted..... Bad security.....

Lumia 520 is best size of 4 inch for businessmen especially chartered accountants, and is easy to carry. Yet we need a Lumia 525 with same specs + battery of 3000 mah please.....

I experienced overheating above the camera when I browse the net with wifi, my battery last 6h with average use. My old L800 last a day long.
Anybody has these problems?

I wanted a phone which has
1.easy controls (Mute/hold) during teleconferencing,
2. good reception
3. good volume
4. GPS navigation for driving.
5. Maps.
6. reasonably good looks.
7. Able to see my friend's posts on facebook.
And I did not find any other phone other than Nokia 520 at an attractive price.
(I dont listen to too much music, nor inclined for FM, not interested in photography using camera, not at all bothered about games etc..)

Nokias days r gone now,ph is extra sensetive,not value for money,software is very complicated wts app and we chat dont work properly
