who said that ascend mate doesnt have nfc!!!! just bought one few days ago and nfc is in the settings - i turn it on and did try with my galaxy nexus and worked perfect ;)

Anyway my company is construction company, so we don't have something called UI. If by it u mean OS I use iPhone, ipad, galaxy tab, Lumia, N8, so I, as everybody should, take advantages from each. Don't mind that if u don't understand it either.

Does it come customized other than your companie's UI? No. You can use it the way it is out of box. In that sense it can be considered even easier to use than other os's and works just fine. It doesn't lag a whole lot normally and will probably be better then.

Not everybody prefer to costumize more than the appearance of their cars, PC, laptop etc, although having the option is always good. The one who can answer this will be holding the future

The Samsung Mega 6.3 is overpriced in my country. It costs 24K Php or around $548 USD while the Huawei Ascend Mate 6.1 only costs 17K Php or around $389 USD. For the record, I'm talking about official local pricing, not street prices. I expect lower street prices.
I would like to upgrade to the Huawei Mate, but as a Galaxy Note user I got fond of using the S Pen. I'll wait for the Note 3 instead. But if I didn't have a Note now, I'd get the Mate.

Android barely lags more. It only has a few more hiccups while being like a full blown customizable computer system. While other os's still lag, but are system wide restricted app launchers. To which they hide behind those restrictions as an illusion of perfection.....a very diluted illusion.

The real surprise may be Samsung, who is deftly controlling the Android market. With an offering at just about every level and size, they’ve no reason to turn Facebook down. Samsung, when compared to the other manufacturers listed, can hit and miss as they please. Samsung also has the ability to make a device with respectable specs, but still keep the price lower than many others. If a phone is too cheap, there is a good reason.

It's ridiculous to so naively believe otherwise. That includes IOS and MAC as well. WP and desktop PC. All have problems. Even Mp3's and high end cameras.

In Malaysia, mate can get at around rm1400 while mega can get at around rm1500.. the price different is about rm100. Mega just start selling here last week but mate almost 2 weeks.. wait for a few more weeks, mega's price will drop again..

By this review , we all totally feel the benchmark is everything. but when i watch the youtube Mate vs Mega 6.3 , the mate is totally faster than Mega 6.3
Android /big screen phone the most important thing is battery capacity. we all learn from S3 , u need to carry power bank go around.

In Malaysia , Mate is sell RM1399 . Mega 6.3 sell at RM1599 . Note 2 sell at RM1899 , but shop warranty note 2 is sell at RM1470.oo
all i can said is Huawei Malaysia is lack of marketing sensitive. No ppl will go for Mate if note 2 just RM1470.oo reasonable price for mate should be RM1050
