GSM Arena, please do your home work! The screen on this phone is NOT TFT but OLED and organic light emitting diode screens are not LCD which is why the promo video compares how LCD screens behave to this display. By the way, TFT is a LCD screen using thin film transistor to enhance images etc.

      Lazy journalism.

The length of the phone is in tablet range nexus 7, Asus ezee pad, samsung tab 3 7.0, Xperia Z tablet, Breadth is less and can sqeeze in as a phone, but will skew aspect ratio.? Only time will tell how it performs.

In low light even if the camera is capable of taking bright pictures the colors are washed out. So no sense in removing flash.

There was a time when phones were grouped in those with camera with a flash and those without a flash in the camera. The flash was considered a luxury. Same as a big megapixel was considered a luxury in a phone. It was a deciding criteria for the price of the phone. Sony after having come such a long way in making good phones should decide to omit the flash in a flagship devise. Also, drop megapixel in a flagship device. Maybe the sensor is too good and 8 mp is sufficient but just for sake of competition should have included at least 13 MP camera. A led light for the torch app. Is sony going retrograde, or they are skeptical of their device ?

Why, Sony?!! Why?!! Why is there no flash?! Who made the decision to remove the flash?!

If it fits in a normal pocket (shirt, pants and jacket) and can be grabbed across by a small hand then it is not too big.
If anyone can wrestle the design crown from Apple then it is Sony.
Of the people who want both a phone and tablet some will chose a combo like this.
Extending the display area of movies to include the 3-button panel is a good development.
                              Potential issues
                              - no photo flash
                              - no builtin stylus (just a thin stick like a ballpoint refill would have fit and been better than nothing)
                              - bezel at the ends way too wide if just for holding
                              - battery time long enough?
                              - readability of display in sun light?
                              - back of glass instead of plastic despite significant weight gain?
                              - no (user?) replaceable battery
                              - camera 8MP and not 13MP as many others
                              - display not quite as wide viewing angled as others?

This is design to use as tablet, why so many complaints?
Many people use nexus 7 on train, and no one say anything? I think this is good for some people, i always like to have a tablet that can make phone call, as long as phone provider don't charge me tablet data fees, I will pair it with the new sony BT SBH52, perfect.
