samsung started assault on nokia for number 1, now sony is out for vengeance... i think sony is sure to win the race.. beautiful camera, processor, screen, design.. what else more can we expect...
oops.. just to add 3000mah is not sufficient for 6", sony - beware you may not score too high in battery..
battery is the important part people will look for in developing countries where power cuts are frequent.
i think u scored low.. so try to keep it with ur next launch of 20mp camera model phablet... which iam eagerly looking to replace for my aging nokia n8..

What is the point of new processor if there is no 4k or even 1080p 60fps recording? Just to be best in benchmarks?

The bezel at each end could have been 10mm instead of now 19mm by increasing the phones thickness from 6.5mm to 6.99mm for the same geometric volume (required by the battery size?) thereby reducing the phones over all length by 18mm - because it not like the phone needs a size boost.

AnonD-111315, 25 Jun 2013i'm super agree with you... i have iphone 4s and xperia z ... moreAdd to the the Stamina Mode with the current power efficiency from the snapdragon 80. And regarding the camera flash, I really don't mind not having any because usually I don't use flash in my photos even in low light conditions. Besides, who would wan't to take picture at night ? You want fantastic high resolution photos with no noise and a good flash, then just buy a professional camera ;)

I'm sensing that Sony's Z line will be their flagship line, like galaxy is to samsung.
Their next flagships would probably be called xperia z2, z ultra2 and tablet Z2

@troll WarLord the x10 was nowhere near being the 1st with an 8mp camera, I remember having a samsung pixon in 2008. x10 only came out in 2009.

WHY?, 25 Jun 2013Battery life sux only 3000 mah?? Dumb move SonyYup, 3.000 mah makes this device looks like doesnt have enough juice for all day, specifically with 2,2ghz quadcore.
But dont forget, snapdragon800 should have better power management.
Somehow sony do not want us to forget to charge our device, since almost all of them last at least 1 day (thats 6 am to 9pm mostly) with normal average usage.

some of you guys dont get it
larger MP cameras and LED flash will just thicken the device and remove its IP58 certification (which can make Xperia ZU take videos underwater)
my only complaint is the battery, it must be at around 5000mAh or so, 2 or 3-year tech RAZR Maxx already had 3300mAh battery while keeping the device reasonably thin
other than that, it's all good Sony!
