HTC One mini vs Samsung Galaxy S4 mini: Young guns

14 August 2013
Yes, you can call it Round 2 but we don’t think it’ll be up to the minis to sort out any unfinished business between the flagships. What we do know though is that taking the dispute to the junior league doesn’t mean there’ll be less pain in losing and less honor...

These two should also be compared with Xperia ZR.

One Mini ain't mini at all. It's almost the size of the original S4. They should rename it to HTC One C. C for cheaper.

S4 mini just gets uglier when place beside One mini.
I agree with everyone, Gsmarena should compare them with ZR.

I do not know about the price of ZR, but if it is almost the same as S4mini and Onemini, then I am sorry but to look with an irony of what sort of unintelligent people (pardon me) would want to buy those two rather then ZR.

I dont get it. Almost every comments wants to have a beautifully design phone. Like iphone and htc one but how come almost all the iphone i saw have case on them same with the htc. If you want beauty them why hide it? Its like those girls that are sexy they really know how to revel that they are sexy and those that are not knows how to be discreet. One more thing almost all wants to buy a slim phone but make it bulky afterwards by putting it in a case.

I agree with the conclussion. One mini won the critical parts - design, screen, sound. For me the rest, While not perfect, is acceptable. Oh and the design - i would buy it not to show off to other people, but to please myself every day by beautiful piece of work.

Just forget about the specs. Think about what makes the iPhone so successful. Apart from the OS, beauty, build quality, speaker and camera that contribute the most to customer satisfaction. No phone is flawless or matching all customers' needs. So ask yourself that you expect the most from a phone? For daily uses, I definitely go for the One mini.

HTC One Mini doesn't deserve the "mini" tag.!It's a huge phone, it should've had a 4'7" screen. It's even longer than Lumia 920!Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini size is just right. And with an expandable memory, removable battery, more powerful chipset, and a cool IR blaster it clearly beats the good-looking, albeit huge, HTC One Mini.

[deleted post]It is you that is wrong. Many people see screen resolution and built quality/design as important as the performance or camera. So please stop making argument on this, i.e. removable battery??? If it is important to you then choose S4 or whatever you like, but for iPhone or other smartphone such as HTC or Sony, this feature is not important at all.
