I have had both infact i currently have the lg2 and can happily say its better. one thing about the htc one yes its feels premium but the aliminium Scrathes/marks really easy i only placed it down on my desk and it got a scratch on the edge and was not happy

HC one : Outdated specs , hyped over priced product, waste camera, big phone with small screen but good speakers .
LG G2 : Best screen, best processor ,Nice camera with OIS , average sound speakers . nice design resembling nexus .
By seeing front of HTC one , i never felt as premium phone . but yes back is good .

I'm tried all the phones, I've never tried this g2, but I'll tell that HTC ONE is the best...
Camera 4mp, but the quality of this camera and all the features are incredible.
More respect for HTC...

Quality , Sleek , Breath-talking, Looker, Premium finishing, Snappy, fast Great camera = Htc One
Specs, Processor, Screen Size, Plastic body, Great camera, Boring look = Lg G2
if u r after premium gadget then the htc if u r after benchmark quadrants numbers and that stuff = LG

On paper the g2 wins, in the real world the g2 besides a few neat features like the lock screen and native CRT animation loses heavily to the lovely HTC One.
It's just too nice a phone to ignore and i've had the opportunity to swap and I said no immediately.

The two ( the G2 and the HTC ONE ) are so completely different. The G2 is the most modern Android out there. The G2 must be compared to the phones out NOW. UNless the point is to garner sales for the G2 off the back of the " Old Guard ".

s4(for sluggish phone with bloatware cheated customers with faked benchmarks)?
if you need OS update why you are not choosing nexus phones ? if you need premium design why not choosing iphone over htc ??
LG G2 is a ton better than htc one and s4 .. OS update will be faster for nexus phones than lg/samsung/htc no doubt ..
and updated galaxy-s2 is slower with new software then why os update (why os update with old graphics drivers)? all phones with qualcomm chipset will be updated same time ... bcoz qualcom will release software after 3-6 months after google release .. nvidia no support for tegra chipset , TI stopped support ... so there is no use of crying for software update for nvidia/ti chipsets.. if you need free software update then buy nexus instead of laggy software update of samsung .
LG G2 is the best android phone in market till now (may be samsung /lg/ htc /sony may come up with better devices)...

The g2 may have all these geeky features but let's be honest. The back/menu make use of that 5.2" display so that means youll always have them. I guess that Samsung made a great job with the s4 and the 5" screen.
Have you seen the UI of the G2? It has the outdated quicktime player 7 design, with those glossy and grey stuff all over.
We all know LG is great with updates... Hope they get KitKat by the end of 2015...
Htc one (for me) and the s4 may be slower and stuff (they were announced almost 6 months ago). I would get the s4 or tthe one

You are probably comparing a Lg 16g version with a 32 g version of the One

Currently im using HTC butterfly S after unsatified of battery life of HTC one. HTC butterfly S is the best power endurance among all android phone i had before including Samsung Note 2, S3 and HTC One X. I wonder why some manufacturers didnt concern of their battery life despite upgrading the cpu power. Its no use to buy powerful phone but no good at battery life. I had experienced many of this usage. I hope they will push more power on battery in any next phone. Thanks.

Sony fo... moreso far, all reviews say LG has best camera to date, OIS is simply awesome, and on the other hand mostly reviews are dissapointed with the performance of Z1 camera ! so i think camera is also a win for LG g2,
