is the v-55 phone customised for vodafone lines only? because i bought a sagem/vodafone myx-5 that did not support my wap browsing and GPRS. pls send me more info. i live in nigeria

If your IRDA is not working you may need to try this program by running the IRXP21a.exe file at www.actisys.com/Downloads.html
I'm sure it's not the only program that does it but it worked for me after I reformatted. Then make sure to install drivers for your IRDA dongle (if applicable) and drop your connection speed to 9600 and you should be away.

ive just bought one and the phone is LOCKED. I have put in factory settings 0000 and it doesnt work. is there some numbers i can put in to unlock it.

I got MY v55 yestrday but there is no Arabic language software.So how can I get one or there is any possibilty to download the Arabic version thanks

I had to reduce the speed of the IRDA connection on my PC to be 9600 to get it to work (using XP). Then it went like a dream using Sagem My Pictures and Sounds, Wellphone and direct connection.
I highly recommend this phone, especially for battery and reception clarity. Sound recording and camera are better quality than I expected. $179 in Australia is a great price too.

I purchased sagem myV-55 from Germany and shifted to pakistan. The set was working there but now here it doesnt work. Deos some body know about the country code for pakistan?

I have just ordered this mobile now i am regreting what i have done , everyone is saying on this website something bad has happened about it locking well i want to be with vodafone like i am with my old mobile it is coming on monday the sagem plz help me what do i do if it locks etc , is the pictures good quality when i take them on the camera?
