i synch my phone with the suite on my laptop now i cant assess my text messages unless i sync it to my laptop,what do i do? i cant edit or store contacts either.

I bought this phone two months ago, is my first touch screen phone, I do have a tablet, motorola xoom that is really sensitive to my fingers, very accurate. But his phone it has a really bad touch screen, not sensitive at all, it´s really difficult to type a message, and is imposible to do it with the qwerty. And the OS is too slow, you press something and have to wait the response, again, too slow.
