Ive decide on this one, but then i saw the LG GW520 and i again am having trouble on deciding... UGH i not a very good "Techy" person. HELP PLEASE

ZOOOOOOOOOEEE, 13 May 2009my plan 4 att expires in june, would anyonee have an opinio... moretouch screens r nice and make things alot easier, but having said this, having a touchscreen all the time is gets very annoying after a while which is y a lot of touchscreen/keyboard phones have been coming out lately to combine easy use of a touchscreen with the feel of a keyboard so i would go with the impression. and also if u prefer the touchscreen keyboard sometimes, the impression has 1 too

I bought the Xenon; and after 1 night, I brought it back and upgraded to the SAmsung Impression.
The Xenon is a mere toy, when it comes to features and performance to the Impression.
Tell ya what, Janice, go back and apply another coat of blonde to your hair. That sounds more like your limited spoeed.

You can go to T-mobile website and look for configurator which will send you little program to configure your phone so you can use internet and picture messages, IM, and other internet based service.

At first it was a great phone with great features that was fun to use. I had used an Ipod touch for a month and wanted something similar without the cost of the iPhone. The initial problems are with finding free or cheap applications - very difficult. Syncing is possible but very difficult for non-experienced users. But these little issues I could have lived with.
45 days after getting the phone (if it were 30 days I could have returned it to the store no questions asked) the mic quit working on 1/2 the calls. The moisture sticker is partially red which voids the warranty. I never had the phone near water or heat but now have to buy a new phone.
My wife got the same phone at the same time and last week here keyboard buckled (not the whole keyboard but the overlay started coming off). For some reason this voided the warranty and she has to buy a new phone.
Two bad phones out of two is not good for such a pricey phone. Even with the insurance it will cost $100 to get them replaced.
Not sure who to blame in this case - Samsung or AT&T - but neither one will step up and do the right thing and replace 2 defective phones.

i gotta question? can you set MP3 or downloaded ring tones for text messages?? or do you have to use the standard text tones samsung put on the phone?

Have you tried to find out if there is an update for the phone to take care of these problems? If yes, then I must agree that Samsung needs to address the problem, and I would not have such a phone.

I am now going to get the LG Xenon I've heard nothing but good things about that phone.
