Samsung announces Galaxy S23 prices, launch bundles in India
Samsung launched the Galaxy S23 series yesterday, but it's only now that the Indian division released the detailed pricing for the Asian country. And it brings good news and bad news.
The bad news is all versions got a price increase compared to the Galaxy S22 series. It's relatively minor INR2,000 on the vanilla S22, more noticeable INR10,000 on Galaxy S22+ and rather significant INR15,000 on the Ultra.
The good news is the Plus and Ultra models come with increased 256GB storage on those base versions, so unless you planned on getting a 128GB unit the difference is not huge. Also India is getting 12GB RAM on the 256GB Ultra, which is a nice perk.
Here is the detailed breakdown:
India (all prices in INR)
Galaxy S23 | Galaxy S23+ | Galaxy S23 Ultra
8/128GB | 74,999 | - | - |
8/256GB | 79,999 | 94,999 | - |

12/256 GB | - | - | 124,999 |
12/512GB | - | - | 134,999 |
12GB/1TB | - | - | 154,999 |
The Galaxy S23 comes in four colors - Black, Cream, Green, and Lavender. The Galaxy S23+ gets only the Black and Cream option, while Galaxy S23 Ultra gets all of them, including four exclusive to Samsung.com - Red, Graphite, Lime, and Sky Blue but they are only for the 256 GB version.
Additionally Samsung India offers pre-booking bundles for the Galaxy S22 Ultra. For just INR4,999 extra, the company is throwing in a Galaxy Watch4 Classic LTE and Buds Pro 2, a 25W adapter and a Wireless Charger Pad Solo.
The Galaxy S23+ can be paired with a Bluetooth-only Watch4 for INR4,999, while the S23 buyers can get the wearable for just INR2,999.
If you trade in your old smartphone, Samsung will slash the price even further with anywhere between INR8,000 and INR60,000, depending on the device.
