I am a member of a Mountain Rescue team in the UK. I had been looking for a rugged phone which would survive knocks, bangs and soaking. So far this phone has fitted the bill. I have found it relatively easy to use with gloves on, speaker feature is useful. It lives on the outside of my kit and was subjected to a serious downpour last night.
Battery life seems good, and the torch feature is useful. It would probably get me "off the hill" if all other lighting had failed.
I will probably never use the fm radio, WAP features, multiple ringtones etc. For voice and text this seems to fit the bill.

This phone is amazingly strong and water ( oil too ) proof, it was submerged under water many many times and still work perfect without water in display or something. I will upluad my video about torturing this phone soon and i'll boil it in a hot pan....

hi guys,
is the "sound recorder" feature able to record conversation during call?
If the keylock is activated, is the torch's button also locked?some say that the button often unintended pressed when put in the pocket.
