liked the phone. But there are some drawbacks.
1. When we are speaking holding the phone against our ear, the torch light or the min and max keys get compressed.
2. Shifting between the input methods, T9Abc to ABC to abc is a pain in the a** when typing a message.
3. The square and steel smartkey selector/menu selector is not user-friendly.
4. Without a coin, we cannot open the back cover.
5. There are no good themes
6. It does not have a buil-in flash.

this is the phone for which every one is waiting
for indian wheather this phone rocks
has amazing sound quality
has great sterio headphones
1.3 mp camera but still captures nice images
mobile tracker
though display is small but is good n clear inough
long battery backup 1000 mAh
we can creat our own themes
powerfull torch light
awesome music player
the phone has everything which everyone wants

kd, 25 Oct 2009can anyone pls suggest on the size of the phone...is it too... moreI've already tried in here in our local shop (ph). Nice feel not too bulky but a little bit longer than other moble nice keypad. Drawback I don't like, the screen is too small and 1.3mp only.

Samsung Marine has everything is better than nokia in this range.It has amazing multimedia capacity.awesome Music player.sterio headphones.1.3 megapixel camera has very good quality.Battery back up is more than nokia 5130. though display is small but clear and good enough.

coz 3720 is jus dust n water jet resistent...IP54 cetified wheras samsung b2100 is IP57-MIL-STD-810F certified(Military Standard 810F of the US Defence department which means the phone is fully protected against the harsh sand, snow, rain, scorching heat and extreme cold, fog and humidity. Military personnel can use this phone in any toughest environmental conditions).its not only dust n water resistant but SHOCK resistant too moreover it is Water proof up to 1 meter and 30 minutes
and has Anti-shock materials "urethane".
b2100 is truly a xplorer best phone for outdoors.
and now the biggest diffrence bro the price of samsung b2100 is Rs 4500 almost half the price of 3720. i dont knw why u compare these phones when there is a huge diffrence in price tag... i mean wen u have budget of Rs4500 how cud u go for a 8/8.5k phone.

karthick, 21 Oct 2009hi friends anyone who brought this mobile could you tell m... moreits bought not brought. hehehe (joke), The sound is good loud enough but only headset made by samsung is compatible. The screen is a bit small (1.77inch)compare to nokia 3720 which is 2.2 inches. The text font is small and thin 5 lines of text, 1.3mp not as good as the 2mp of nokia 3720. There's no memory card in the sale package. It's nice to hold, durable splash and shock resistant. Go to mobile shop and try to hold both of them or even try it then decide. For me i'll go for nokia 3720 but the audio jack is 2.5mm. One more thing B2100 text alert tone is changeable unlike other samsumg phone. Buy now!

with waterproof it also hav amazing multimedia capability...
though camera is 1.3 megapixel but good in clarity....nice sound n headphone
