anyway erase the one you installed and install the following one... it's the same but i edited it to make the white tiny keypad in the end of the application disappear and also work in landscape... here is the link and install it as i told you earlier

It's okay :) ... now follow the next steps to install google maps...

1. Take google maps that end with jar and move it in a certain folder

2. Go to My computer

3. Click on tools on top of the window

4. Go to Folder options and go on the view tab. Now scroll down to hide extensions for known file types and make sure it’s UNCHECKED. (This will show all extensions like .html .exe .rar etc after name of file.)

5. Now right click anywhere >>new >>text document.
Now copy and paste this in the newly created document: install ***.jar

Where the *** is replaced with name of the game or application (to get correct name right click on ***.jar file and copy the title)

eg: for installing barcoder
My code will look like this: install barcoder.jar

Where barcoder.jar is the name of application I want to install
Now save the text document and save it as anything.html

6. Move all this .html file to that certain folder (where you save the applications)

7. Now transfer this .html file along with .jar to your phone via USB or Bluetooth

8. Now press on the application or game and it will be installed.... :)

i don't know what wrong with your kies but did it work well with xp.... cause if yes then the problem is in windows 7...

I remember that vijay once had the same problem and he solved it by formatting his pc/laptop and reinstalled Kies with manual settings but he didn't mention which windows he use...

now bout bluetooh... you need to BlueSoleil to be able to access the phone, card memory via bluetooh... cause without this program there is no way you will access them or they will appear on windows explorer...

About updating your phone firmware... here is how to do so... but

Well i don't know the limit size of emails on Corby Pro but check those steps and tell me what's different on your mobile


1. Go to Settings ---> Application Settings---> Messages---> Email---> Email Accounts


2. Account Name: anything or your name


3. SMTP Server : smtp.gmail.com


4. SMTP Port: 465


5. Secure Connection : SSL


6.Incoming server type: POP3


7. POP3 Server: pop.gmail.com


8. POP3 port: 995


9. Secure Connection: SSL


10. Download limits: 500 (your wish)


11. IMAP4 incoming email : New


12. Retrieving Option: Whole Message (your wish)


13. Keep on Server: (yes) check the box


14. My email address: youremail@gmail.com


15. User Name: youremail@gmail.com


16. Password: Your Gmail Password


17. Pop Before SMTP: Uncheck


18. SMTP auth.: (yes) check the box


19. Same as POP3/IMAP4: (yes)check the box


20. SAVE it


Make sure your POP is enable in your Gmail settings.


If you are using Airtel, then select Mobile Office settings for internet.

Now let me tell you that you are absolutely right about what you said... and i promise you that from now on I'll focus on the unsolved issues...

About a good map appliction that can work with GPS... well i didn't activate to GPS on my Corby pro cause it will cost lots of money and till now i didn't need to use it... so here what will i do... I'll try to find a good application and post it and you guys try it and tell me :)

About tutorial... well i though of this idea a couple of days ago but for some reason i wasn't able to do it... so let's make a deal... why don't you help me in this?

About the games.. well i found an amazing site that got lots and lots of touch games that will work with Corby Pro but they need to be edited to work in landscape mode... so I'll edit the files and post them...

Am sorry but sheheer gave you a wrong info... i'm sure he didn't mean that but you can not download, apply themes or create any to Corby Pro... you have only Black theme (will color the bars to black and a black background in menu)... Green theme (will color the bars to Green and a green background in menu)... Red theme (will color the bars to red and a red background in menu)... Cartoon theme... Graffiti theme... :)
