Tried all sorts of tricks but no avail.
In Win 7.o Kies (newer ver 137 MB download etc.) the teethering is able to get upto registering ur computer on network and then fails. gives PPP problem.
I took out the sim and inserted in LG cookie and the system got connected very smoothly. Therefore it is not the ISP problem ! Again in KIES the connection wizard mentions it as "Airtelgprs" whereas it is actually "airtelgprs" the a is lowercase, and you just cannot change it or opt for manual configuration. I do not think it is going to work. I am stuck up.
I had baught this phone because when 3g comes in I could get broadband connection on the PC thru phone. But does'nt look like it is going to work with the Corby Pro.
Neither in Blue tooth are the phone and card memory visible in explorer as is available in all other phones.
I just do not know whether anybody can help me. Or whether if anybody from Samsung reading this will be kind enough to either give a firmware update or give appropriate bluetooth drivers or usb drivers for pc internet connectivity without KIES etc.
On the message front too KIES has only a message viewer!
SAD situation for an otherwise beautiful phone.

another useful program: dm mob is a good download manager with resume capacity and ... And it works on corby pro

Hi Jane,
You won't beleive..but i read all the comments till page 50 to this first page :-) and undoubtly see you as the champ...:-) kudos to you...keep on doing the good job.....
now i see some of the issues unsolved...may be you can spend your spare time searching on them...
First: Any good maps application that can work with GPS.......anyways i don't expect that any application can give voice guidance in corby pro.....
Second: I saw that as soon as new people join here...they ask same questions again and again...and you reply them again and again..;-)....so sems like you spend a lot of time replying same things......may be i can suggest you one thing........Just make a tutorial of common problems...write their answers and upload it on any site.........this way you just have to paste the link of tutorial and needy people will get their answers from that file.........just a suggestion.......
Third: I am sick with searching games for our corby pro.... if you can send me the link of games.....i will make a zip file of all the games and paste it somewhere to get download for our other frnds.....
I don't think this will be a problem for our moderators coz' it will only help the users to play around with their lovely device....
