select db management
select db update
select java
exit

the firmware im using is B5310XXJB3
i installd a 1.5mb jar file..it ws a ebook
onc i evn installd a 2mb file.. i frgt wt dat was... i was scard it wouldnt install but it did
even the eng dictionary someone postd here installd nd its size is 4 mb
installing tym no probs..aftr installing big file i get "java error no memory"
then dial *#7092463*# nd select "db management"
then "update db" nd then "java"
it shuld work
wot abt the virtual qwerty keyboard?? is it der?

is it possible to clear the phones memory? it keeps saying its full when browsing, so Id like to know how to clear the memory. Ive tried clearing the cache/cookies and history on the browser but memory is still full :(

oh... one more thing
i updated my corby by following instructions at a site and now i can install jar files by simply clicking..no need fr html files nd stuff.. i dunno wht others problem is but i can install jar files of any size..even with my un-updated fone!

i read on some sites the pro has a qwerty keypad whn we rotate the screen in messages..but i dint get it.. does the fone have it?

kies converts videos with bad quality

mp4 files play without any problem and with great quality on my corby pro!!
any converter will do
i use mp4 extension wid h264 codec..
320x240 res
bitrate - 512 to 1024 mbps..pro will play even the 1mbps files easily... but 512 is good nd i dont get pixelated videos at 512...768 is perfect
audio bitrate to 128kbps nd all videos ar playin fine

I’ll be with you till you solve the problem :):)... listen erase all the video from your mobile... now open Kies.... Kies is a very important pc suite that will make you life with CorbyPro much easier... then open the video converter option inside Kies... select your mobile... Kies will automatically choose mp4 format cause it's the best for CorbyPro and then drag the movie to Kies video converter... and then press on convert... after the convert process is done... transfer the movies to your mobile...
Note: when I tried to use other software to convert the movies, they always fail to work on CorbyPro... but they always work when I use Kies video converter... and it also shrink the size of the movie....
Try Kies and then tell me what happen :)

i downloaded the dictionary and installed it... but it also didn't work with me so the whole issue is like Jack and Anna said...CorbyPro won't open a jar file that's more than 1MB... and this dictionary is 4MB... so honestly even my solution didn't work :( but visit getjar dot com.... it got the best jar games/applications... and all of them are small in size... so maybe you will find another good dictionary there...
any jar file, less than 1Mb and it's a 240x320 then it will work on Corby pro....
and about making the games/applications run in horizontal view with using the Qwerty keyboard.. then you have to edit the jar file by doing the following:
Before installing the game/application...
Open the jar file with WinZip (not winrar). Open the meta inf folder and open the meta inf file and then paste this at the bottom:
X-Pax-Keyboard: Qwerty
X-Pax-TextInput-Hidden: true
MIDlet-Touch-Support: TRUE
MIDlet-ScreenMode: ROTATE
and i have tried this way and it works well but you need to know this will make the games/applications run in horizontal view with using the Qwerty keyboard only... it will not solve the touch issue if it's not a touch appliction

By the way, I haven't tried your proposed solution yet :P But I'll work on it, as soon as I got my net book back :)
But the question is, do you think that application is compatible in Corby pro? And is your proposed solution still work on this application?
and is it possible to run games/applications in horizontal view? (using the slide keys)
