Abdul, 31 Aug 2010I am download application of samsung corby pro gt 5310 site... moreHello Abdul
Well CorbyPro accept files with a jar format only… (***.Jar) not jad format… yes there are both java but cell phones only support jar files… and to install the jar files to your CorbyPro… you need to do a little trick… here is the steps:
1. Download all the games and application and save it in a certain folder
2. Go to My computer
3. Click on tools on top of the window
4. Go to Folder options and go on the view tab. Now scroll down to hide extensions for known file types and make sure it’s UNCHECKED. (This will show all extensions like .html .exe .rar etc after name of file.)
5. Now right click anywhere >>new >>text document.
Now copy and paste this in the newly created document: install ***.jar
Where the *** is replaced with name of the game or application (to get correct name right click on ***.jar file and copy the title)
eg: for installing barcoder
My code will look like this: install barcoder.jar
Where barcoder.jar is the name of application I want to install
Now save the text document and save it as anything.html
6. Move all those .html files to that certain folder (where you save the games and applications)
7. Now transfer this .html files along with .jar to your phone via USB or Bluetooth
8. Now press on the application or game and it will be installed....
:)

eshan, 30 Aug 2010hey jane
thanx for yur efforts to help me out wid my wifi ... moreEshan
Am really sorry that my solution to the wifi didn’t work… but I promise you that I’ll keep searching
About coping the movies… all you have to do is open the video folder in your mobile via Kies and then open the folder that contain the movies from windows explorer then easily drag and drop the file onto the device icon and you also drag and drop a file onto a viewer or player widget to play it… but only the movies with 3gp or mp4 formats will work on CorbyPro…
Anyway read Kies user guide… cause it got lots of useful information…. it’s so small and easy to understand with pictures …
:)

hi everyone, specially Jane! :D
I need some help, I have the corby pro and Im learning to love it. I just have a question...
there is this website that I love to download stuff from via wifi. But I just realized I cant download to my phone. it says "content not supported"
however, I can download to my pc and then pass it from the pc to the phone and then the phone will read it.
so why cant I just download directly from the wifi? is it because of the phones browser? is there something Im doing wrong?
please respond
